What are "Sirong", "Xiulang", "Zeng Gong Sheng" and "Old People"?

Does Sirong mean an official? Look at the penultimate paragraph!

Shexian county, known as the "hometown of archways", has bluestone squares all over the county. At first, * * * built more than 250 archways, and so far more than 80 archways have been completely preserved. Among these numerous archways, in addition to the Bagua Building in Guo Xu, a national key cultural relic protection unit in the county, there is also the Tang Yue archway group, which is six kilometers west of the city. Here, let's focus on the Tang Yue archway group.

The rare paifang group in China not only has the words "loyalty, faithfulness, frugality and righteousness", but also walks ten buildings at a time, forming an architectural system that seems to be in one go. It not only has the differences in styles of different times, but also reflects the identity of the whole building, providing rare historical materials for experts and scholars studying politics, economy, culture and architectural art in Ming and Qing Dynasties and Huizhou merchants at home and abroad.

The first archway was built in the 13th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, with four columns and three rooms on the first floor. Ganlong has been rebuilt for forty-three years, with a history of more than 400 years. It is made of white horses and wonderful stones that are easily weathered. The word "imperial edict" is written on the dragon and phoenix board under the cornice, and the words "offering a filial piety to the ancient Hou Lang Baocan" are engraved below, and there is a "lion rolling hydrangea" (stone carving) on each side.

Walking through a square paved with bluestone slabs, you will find the square of "Cixiaoli", the elder of Paifang Group, which means like "village temple". The workshop was built in Yongle 18 in Ming Dynasty, with a history of more than 570 years. The word "imperial system" on the dragon and phoenix board indicates that the workshop was built by the emperor with the money of the state treasury, which shows its high specifications.

Like the chastity archway in other parts of Shexian, the brand of "Completely Lonely" was set up in Xi 'an to show the chastity women who were widowed when they were young. Its owner is Bao Wenling's wife Wang, who died in 25 years and is determined to observe this festival. During the years of the festival, she was filial to her in-laws and raised her children with great pains. After her son grew up and became famous, she wanted her mother to enjoy a happy life, but she was young. So "trouble building" means that the emperor ordered that Wang was indeed a "perfect" figure in feudal society, and the imperial edict agreed to build workshops.

Walking across a small bridge is Congbu Pavilion, commonly known as Guanmao Pavilion. This was written by Bao Xuan, the imperial adviser of Deng Wei, a great calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. This pavilion was built during the Qin Long period of the Ming Dynasty.

As soon as I got out of the pavilion, I saw a "Ziyi Square" built of blue tea round stones, which began in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty and has a history of 100 years. Looking forward to the vigorous and powerful word "charity", which means "take it from the people and use it for the people", is very intriguing.

The seven archways in the archway group are centered on the square with the word "righteousness" and arranged symmetrically from both ends to the middle according to the words "loyalty, filial piety, festival and righteousness". Beyond the square with the word "righteousness", there is another chastity archway, which is different from the previous one and was built for a stepwife. Isn't it rare to set up memorial archways for stepwives in many chastity homes? Wu, a native of Jiading, Shanghai, entered Baomen as a stepwife, and her husband Bao died unfortunately. At the age of 29, Wu was determined to observe this festival. During the festival, he not only filial to his parents-in-law, but also raised his ex-wife's children as his own children, and was widowed for 60 years. When he was in his 60s, he donated all his savings for many years to repair the ancestral graves of the lower Baojia family of IX. A woman's family and a stepwife made such a large-scale memorial to their ancestors, which deeply touched the head of Bao clan, so they reported to the official and even the king, demanding equal treatment, and gave him a good example.

"The Capital of Tian Jian" is a "filial piety square" with a history of 128 years. Why is it "Tian Jian Qingcheng Mountain"? I hear it seems superstitious. What is this? Please allow me to tell you slowly. In the third year of Qi Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Bao Fengchang, who was only fourteen years old, decided to go out to find a job. He begged and asked questions. Three years later, many things happen. He finally found the father of the adherents of the late Ming Dynasty who went out to make a living in Yanmenguan Ancient Temple in Gansu thousands of miles away. Fortunately, he had gangrene on his back, and he was in pain. Bao Fengchang did not hesitate to lie on his father's back and suck pus and maggots out of the sore with his mouth. His mouth is swollen. When Feng Changgong took his father back to his hometown in Huizhou, who knew that his mother was seriously ill again? A doctor said that although there was a prescription containing a medicine called genuine frankincense, Bao Fengchang went abroad to seek this medicine and finally found it in Fuchun Mountain. After taking the medicine, his mother recovered quickly. From then on, everyone said that Bao Fengchang's filial piety touched the gods, and God cured his parents' illness. Isn't it the emperor of the world? So in the thirty-sixth year of Qianlong, the filial piety workshop was built by decree.

Standing at the end of the four-glory archway, it was built for the prime minister Bao Jiaxian. His official position is the highest, so there are words in the workshop that "the officials are United with Taiwan, and the official department is left as a lang".

The allusion of Paifang Group is finished, so let's calm down and slowly review what we said before and recall the long history of "loyalty, filial piety, chastity and righteousness"!
