Dear teachers and students:
Good Morning, everyone!
In order to promote the traditional culture of China, stimulate students' interest in writing and practicing calligraphy, cultivate students' good writing habits and improve their ability to standardize writing, the teaching office of our school held a calligraphy competition for standardizing Chinese characters last Tuesday afternoon.
Because the content of writing requires that it can be written in Chinese books of all grades, this competition truly shows the students' writing level. First of all, the contestants of each class actively participate in the competition, and their writing attitude is serious, and they can write every Chinese character carefully according to the strokes and stroke order. The font is tall and straight, the strokes are vigorous and powerful, and the strokes are obvious. Some students' works have a certain taste of calligraphy. The layout of the works is reasonable, neat and beautiful.
But we also found some problems: some students write incorrectly, especially the body and head are too close to the desktop, and the way of holding the pen needs to be corrected. We hope that taking this competition as an opportunity, all classes in the school will continue to carry out writing education in a down-to-earth manner and put the written ideas into the hearts of every student.
Finally, I read out the winners of this calligraphy competition (in no particular order)-
Applause for these future calligraphers!
Teachers and students:
In addition to the calligraphy competition last week, there was a composition competition for grades three to six on Wednesday afternoon. This essay contest aims to improve students' writing level and enliven everyone's campus cultural life. Different from the previous composition contest, this time we wrote a topic for grades three to six-"The Story of Me and the Book". In this essay contest, the students fully demonstrated their talents and expressed their love for books with beautiful writing. Students observe life with keen eyes, refine life with flexible thinking, and read excellent works of classmates. I seem to smell a thick book, as if I were wandering in the ocean of books with everyone's words.
After careful evaluation by four judges and teachers of the Chinese language group, five students were selected to win the first prize after comprehensive consideration of handwriting, content, thought and writing style.
Now I'd like to announce the winner of this essay contest-
Let's give a warm applause to today's award-winning students again.
You can't go to Wan Li Road without accumulating steps; You can't become a river without accumulating small streams. Today's award-winning students, whether writing or writing, must be behind their efforts and long-term accumulation. Today's award is a new starting point, not a gas station. I hope you will guard against arrogance and rashness in front of honor and strive for greater achievements. At the same time, I hope all our classmates can follow the example of today's award-winning classmates and write Chinese characters and articles well, so as to win the prize in the next competition.
A meaningful mother's day
Every Mother's Day, I always stay for two days from the day before (May 1 1 Sunday) to make the good mood brought by this festival last longer.
I started the day before, because 17 years ago, the day before Mother's Day (May 1 1 day), I became a mother. On May 1 1 this year, I gave a 15 minute share to 200 primary school teachers in Shi Si. Before I started, Director Wang Hongliang made special mention of Mother's Day, and all the teachers warmly applauded to celebrate the coming Mother's Day.
At the end of the first day of my fourth grade study, my sister JH and I took a bus together, and then trotted to my sister's house to look after the children. Although he is not good at words and won't say "Happy Mother's Day" to me, he expressed his love for his mother with his actions. This also reminds me of attending the bar mitzvah this year. The child's big hand, holding my little hand, walked side by side with him, and I could only reach his shoulder. My pace seems to be a little behind him. At that moment, I had an illusion that he seemed to be an adult and I was a child.
Today, Mother's Day is here. I want to spend my holiday with my mother. Like my children, I didn't buy a gift for my mother, nor did I say "Happy Mother's Day" to her, but stayed with my mother. I cook and my sister washes clothes; I wash the pot and my sister cleans the room. Before leaving, her mother said, "Thanks to my two daughters coming back today, I have a lot of leisure."
In fact, my sister and I are happier than my mother, because we all think this Mother's Day is very meaningful.
