Why do you practice copybooks?

In order to write well, it is also for self-cultivation.

First of all, why do you practice calligraphy? What's the purpose? Cultivate sentiment, or to improve your calligraphy?

What is the function of that copybook? Knowing the purpose of copybooks, you can understand why you should practice with copybooks. The copybook can write the actual writing ability, master the writing skills of pen calligraphy, obviously improve the calligraphy level in a short time, and lay a solid foundation for further study in the future.

Have your own purpose, and then you can practice according to your own wishes.

Copy an article by yourself every day, just write carefully, without copying copybooks. This method is also good, mainly to cultivate sentiment. If you want to practice writing neatly, I suggest practicing copybooks. It is more standardized. You can know different writing methods and skills of various fonts through copybook practice.

Reflections on temporary copybooks

Nine primary schools in Yanrong District, Foshan City

Calligraphy books have piled up in my home, but I still pick up a few books every time I go to the book city. Last week, I went to read again. In the sea of copybooks, no one's style is perfect now. Maybe it's not fresh after getting used to it, so I think it's average! I remember seeing Pang Zhonghua's beautiful paintings when I was a child. Now it seems that there is no taste of calligraphy. It's just the smell of rubbings in my eyes! However, there is still much to learn from a closer look, that is, its structure is very stable and tight. It's the same in Si Mayan. It was great at first, but it's not so good when you get used to it! It is not easy for me to write my own unique style! In the process of practicing books, I have practiced all their books, but I have never posted any of them, let alone posted them! But I have the following experience since I practiced books, and I want to share it with you:

Every week, one of our young teachers' plans is to practice writing. I won't elaborate on the benefits of practicing calligraphy. As a teacher, at least often use the writing blackboard. Here I first emphasize that "practicing calligraphy" must be posted. But pasting also requires methods, so I took a lot of detours. Now I will analyze the road I took, which is crooked and which is wrong, and how to bypass him and get out of a sunshine avenue.

First of all, we must understand the importance of temporary posting. I've tried writing without sticky notes before. No matter how hard I try, I can't write anything I'm satisfied with. Although I know it is not good-looking, I don't know how to change it! This tells me that if you don't learn from other people's good things, you can't create better ones! After that, I started posting.

Second, we should choose pleasing, good and interesting positions. I knew little about calligraphy before. I heard that Pang Zhonghua's copybook is the best. You must practice his. Although I don't think Pang's handwriting is the best either, I knew nothing about calligraphy at that time, so I bought his stickers and began to force myself to practice. In the process of practice, it is very boring, and even sometimes I feel that his writing is not good enough, so I don't imitate it seriously and give up after a long time! Until I found out that the copybook someone practiced was not from Pang Zhonghua, and it felt better than his! I just started looking for books myself! I find that there are many good stickers in the world, and I can also find my favorite stickers to practice.

Third, the first easy is difficult, and the combination of "imitation" and "pro". "Copy" before "pro". "Imitation" means covering a copybook with a piece of paper that can penetrate words, and drawing the same words with a pen according to the following words. "Pro" means to put the copybook you want to learn on the desk and take another piece of paper to write words with very similar or even identical styles. Sometimes you can copy it when you are bored. I remember that when I was away, I started copying. Because I think it is not easy for me to get used to a set of things, I must change my habits, copy one or two favorite stickers, get some feelings and habits of using a pen, and then start over. After copying a book, I found that my strokes were much smoother and I made obvious progress, but I couldn't write temporarily or temporarily, and I couldn't write if I wanted to. Sometimes I even think quickly and go back to the original road. I always don't like my handwriting. This is the hardest step I have ever taken. In fact, I have been making progress during this time, but I haven't found it myself. I lingered at this stage for a long time and gave up several times.

Fourth, we must persevere, avoid urgency with slowness, and win more with less. I used to practice when I had nothing to do. I firmly believe that if I practice more, I will be better and I can realize the method. Also eager for quick success, fast, missed the organization. After many twists and turns, I realized that we should take our time and avoid hurry. There are many kinds of Chinese characters, and there are no big, simple and absolute rules to be found, only rich and relative detailed rules to assist, and there are still many words to remember. So every time we have a meeting, we should analyze and compare it to make it look good, then write it down and write it like this later. Less is better than more, every word is composed of radicals, and every stroke should be carefully written, and every stroke should be carefully understood, and finally it will be completely understood. Until your hands can express correctly according to the instructions of your brain.

The above four points are the ideological guidance that I have summarized since my personal posting. I always feel that it is a long story. I still have a lot of knowledge about calligraphy that I haven't introduced one by one, and I don't understand a lot of knowledge myself I can only stop here!
