1. Rooting culture
Over the years, our school has adhered to the humanistic spirit as the basis and the scientific spirit as the guidance, and constructed five series of cultural themes:
First, the "school purpose series" with the theme of "student development as the foundation and striving for quality education". The school motto, school spirit, teaching style and study style, which are mainly distributed in the conspicuous places of campus publicity columns, teaching buildings and office buildings, have influenced teachers and students from time to time, thus encouraging all teachers and students to never slack off and forge ahead.
the second is the "calligraphy and painting characteristic series" with the theme of "inheriting traditional culture and carrying forward national spirit". Mainly distributed in art buildings and teaching buildings. The eight gold and bronze characters of "calligraphy and painting are good at harmonious development", the statues of the master artist Qi Baishi and the calligraphy master Wang Xizhi, and the main sculpture "Yi Hai Ao Xiang" clearly highlight the school-running characteristics; In the cultural corridor of each floor of the art building, "activity silhouette" shows the scenes of teachers and students carrying out various activities, "gardener gathering" gathers teachers' works of art, calligraphy and photography, and "masterpieces by famous artists" allows students to get in touch with artists at zero distance. No matter where students are on campus, what they can see is art.
The third is the "Cultivating Education Series" with the theme of "Sowing Good Habits and Harvesting a Healthy Life". Mainly distributed in the corridors and publicity columns of the teaching building, there are "Daily Behavior Standard of Yanbu Central Primary School", common sense of life, hygiene habits, etc., as well as students' own warm tips, such as "throw less, pick up more, be cleaner, be happier" and "Honesty is always fashionable" ... Because these tips are all from students, they are easier to be understood and accepted by students, and they consciously develop good behavior habits.
the fourth is the "Science and Technology Education Series" with the theme of "Popularizing scientific knowledge and paying attention to the development of science and technology". There are mainly small inventions, small productions, computer-generated science fiction painting, etc., to encourage students to love science, learn science and be brave in exploring science.

Attach importance to the construction of class culture, guide teachers and students to design a class culture with individuality by taking calligraphy and painting as the carrier. Our school puts forward "calligraphy and painting are good at and develop harmoniously". The school takes this as the "source" and nourishes students' learning quality of "concentration, persistence, tranquility and far-reaching", as well as civilized, polite, honest and trustworthy human nature. We attach importance to students' study of writing and learning Chinese characters, and insist on "reciting classics and writing classics" every Thursday or Tuesday, so as to enhance students' love for the language and writing of the motherland, deepen students' understanding of excellent traditional culture, and further improve their knowledge and accomplishment. In painting and calligraphy education, we have long insisted on "training teachers and students in painting and calligraphy once a week", "holding a painting and calligraphy competition between teachers and students every semester" and "holding a painting and calligraphy exhibition every semester", and tried hard to combine painting and calligraphy teaching with cultivating aesthetic taste, developing comprehensive quality, cultivating innovative ability and developing school-based curriculum in these practical activities, and achieved good results.
Third, educating people through activities
We always adhere to the principle of "moral education in life", and take activities that students like to see and hear as the platform and carrier to carry out moral education, so that moral education can enter students' classroom and life.
code of conduct education: emphasizing the word "learning", we have formulated the Code of Daily Conduct for Primary School Students in Yanbu Center, and issued it to students. Students will be organized through class meetings to learn, understand and master one by one. Highlight the word "strict", be strict with it, conduct regular inspection and appraisal, and take the inspection and assessment results as an important basis for the selection of various advanced technologies; Adhere to the word "constant", and always pay attention to the students' behavior norms, focus on them, and pay attention to results.
model education: put forward the slogan of "I am from Yanbu Central Primary School, and strive to win glory for Yanbu Central Primary School", and attach importance to "building a model and establishing a new style". Every month, the activities of selecting "five small pacesetters" and the evaluation activities of civilized classes are carried out, and ten stars of "etiquette, love, honesty, labor, environmental protection, sports, calligraphy and painting, thrift, science and technology and popularization" are selected in each class every semester. Vigorously publicize their advanced deeds through bulletin boards, blackboard newspapers, cable broadcasts, websites, etc. on campus, so that students can learn by example and follow guidelines.
Interest expansion education: Students' interest activities are carried out in two classes every Thursday afternoon, and more than 3 interest activity groups, such as handcraft, chess, sports, guzheng, dance, textbook drama, recitation, car model, small reporter station and Olympic information technology, are available for students to choose freely, which not only improves students' comprehensive quality, but also promotes the development of teachers' "second major". The reporters at the Guangdong Second Classroom reporter station of the school often carry out celebrity interviews, "Red Scarf Forum" and other activities. Nearly 2 young reporters have got a good exercise, and their works are often published in publications at all levels.
IV. Education of Love
Over the years, our school has carried out activities with loving education, such as "Rebuilding Resources, * * * Giving Love", "Hand in Hand", "Giving Love and Flying Dreams", to enhance students' awareness of environmental protection, save resources, and learn to care for others and have a sense of social responsibility. Up to now, * * * raised 12,124.38 yuan for recycling resources, which was used to support poor students and charitable activities in the school.
