Pang Zhonghua, a native of Chongqing, 1965 graduated from Southwest University of Science and Technology, majoring in geological exploration. He is an educator of hard-pen calligraphy and the main pioneer of contemporary hard-pen calligraphy in China. He is currently the chairman of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and elected as a member of the Eighth China People's Political Consultative Conference.
Hard-pen calligraphy is a bright pearl in the hundred gardens of calligraphy art, and its writing tools include pens, gel pens, artistic pens, pencils, chalk and so on. With ink or powdery medium as the main carrier, the writing skills of Chinese characters are expressed.
