Lying lies and rumors to confuse the public, and fools regard them as "gods"

Wang Zhongdu, a native of Fenwang Village, Xingfu District, Boxing County, Shandong Province, was born into a wealthy landlord family. His father's name is Wang Yanhu. He was originally a traditional Chinese medicine doctor. Later, he used his medical practice to organize and develop a Taoist organization called "Sage Taoism" and became a powerful Taoist leader. Wang Zhongdu was indolent and indolent since he was a child. He would rather die than study after only two years of schooling. After that, he worked in farming and business, but gave up because he was too tired and too tired. Although Wang Zhongdu is a playboy, he is very scheming, very good at winning people's hearts, and has a flexible mind. He traveled around for several years and found that only by preaching and recruiting disciples like his father could he develop his "talent", so he inherited his father's mantle and started preaching and recruiting disciples. With his sharp tongue, he lobbied everywhere and recruited many disciples, and gradually became the most powerful figure in the "Sage Way".

At the beginning of 1944, Wang Zhongdu changed the "Sage Way" to "Inaction Golden Elixir Way" and called himself the Dharma title "Inaction wins over action". Wang Zhongdu claimed that Japan's invasion of China was God's will, and believed that the destruction of life in the war was the fate of the people. He spread rumors to intimidate the masses, saying that the Communist Party was now in power, and that there would be a "doomsday year" that would never happen in a thousand years. When the Doomsday Year comes, most of the people will die. At that time, society will have no houses to live in, no clothes to wear, no people to breed on the land, and no people to eat. The whole world will be in chaos and darkness for a long time. state. He also spread rumors based on natural celestial phenomena, saying that the "Red Sun Tribulation" will definitely come true in the future, and that after the "White Sun Tribulation" there will be a "White Sun Tribulation". At this time, the world will be completely different from the present one. He also spared no effort in claiming that he had invited the Eight Immortals from above and below, and they all said that the world is approaching the "end of calamity" and people will have to endure great catastrophes. If they want to seek liberation, they can only survive by entering the Tao. These horrific and bizarre contents made many ignorant people feel frightened and uneasy, and they joined the Taoist Association one after another in order to seek relief. Many people praised him and regarded him as a "god".

In order to further deceive the masses, he actually claimed to be the reincarnation of the ancient Cangjie. He told the Taoist disciples that although the "Wuwei Golden Elixir Way" is now called "Wuwei", when the end of the calamity comes in the future, "Wuwei" will It becomes "promising". Wang Zhongdu also said nonsense that his father's master Wu Banggu was the reincarnation of Jiang Ziya, claiming that he had boundless magical powers. He also said that he searched everywhere for living Buddhas, and finally found Gao Diansheng, a landlord in Gaoqing County, who called Gao the Duke of Zhou. Gao Diansheng could not control the situation and the masses, so he said that the real Maitreya Buddha was his long-term servant Tang Kunhou, and that the Tang Dynasty was King Wen who descended to earth. From then on, Gao paid homage to Tang, prostrated himself to the ground, and threatened that when all religions would be unified in the future, the world would be theirs.

In order to establish the "Kingdom of Heaven" and carry out counter-revolutionary rebellion, Wang Zhongdu also recruited a group of literati to help copy and organize propaganda materials. There were more than a dozen people participating in this activity, the important ones were Wang Zhonghua, Wei Yuntian, Gao Yindong, Zhou Hanzhi, Zhu Fengqi and others. Wang Zhongdu did this and became famous among Taoists. Many people think that he does not know much about literacy, but he can understand astronomy, geography, and even make characters. What is he if he is not a Taoist immortal? His "imperial" scholar Wang Dengrong was the one who was deeply confused. This old man, who was a primary school teacher who was well-read in poetry and books, spent his whole day copying messy materials in small regular script, and devoted himself wholeheartedly to his service.

In order to coerce the Taoist disciples into obeying him, Wang Zhongdu also formulated a set of intimidating regulations. After offering incense, he would always mutter something and warn the Taoist disciples: Do not reveal anything about the Tao. In the future, we will ride on the same horse, suffer the same hardships, enjoy the blessings together, have the same clothes to wear, and have the same food to eat; otherwise, five thunders will strike. , not a good death. Therefore, many Taoist disciples were unable to quit and had no choice but to follow him on the path of counter-revolutionary riots.
