According to No.31issued by the Ministry of Culture of People's Republic of China (PRC) and No.627 issued by the Ministry of Culture, China Academy of Fine Arts was approved to carry out standardized and authoritative social art level examination activities across provinces. Authorized by China Academy of Fine Arts, Chengdu Examination Office of Examination Center of China Academy of Fine Arts is responsible for managing and organizing the examination activities of fine arts calligraphy in Chengdu Examination Center. The grading standards are formulated by the Ministry of Culture and put forward, evaluated and certified by China Academy of Fine Arts. The examination fee shall be examined and approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and put on record by Chengdu Price Bureau.
1. Examination subjects and level: China landscape painting, China flower-and-bird painting, China figure painting, sketch, oil painting, gouache, color, sketch, hard pen calligraphy and soft pen calligraphy.
