Mr. Li Yisheng caused a sensation in academic circles with his artistic achievements in calligraphy. The artistic achievements of calligraphy are vigorous, boundless, yellow, big and good. In particular, his calligraphy attainments, catching up with the sage Wu Changshuo, are known as "the late Weng, until Saiyin". Through more than 40 years' academic research on calligraphy in Shi Guwen, Mr. Li Yisheng has achieved fruitful results, and 648 stone drum characters have been excavated and sorted out, which is the highest in history. As an artist, after several months of research, Mr. Li created the first traditional classic "Da Xue" in the history of calligraphy in China.

China Academy of Fine Arts Press has published a monograph "Li Weixiu's Poems and Paintings Calligraphy Collection" and a collection of theoretical works "Yi Yi Sheng Dao". The People's Fine Arts Publishing House published the first set of personal calligraphy Dahongpao's Ten Kinds of Golden Pens by Li Yisheng since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Xiling Publishing House published Li Yisheng's monographs, Shi Guwen 300 Lian, Jinwen 300 Lian, Shi Guwen University and Li Yisheng's Calligraphy Art. His poems, calligraphy and painting works, critical articles and personal exhibitions were introduced by dozens of newspapers such as Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao and Japan's Today News.
