How to form good writing habits

People often say: "Words are a person's second face". This is because handwriting often reflects a person's knowledge, personality, temperament, demeanor and so on. The new curriculum standard puts forward that writing teaching should pay attention to the guidance of students' writing posture, guide students to master basic writing skills and develop good writing habits. For the physical and mental characteristics of primary school students, writing can not only consolidate literacy, but also write correctly and neatly, with a certain speed, which is helpful to better complete homework in various subjects and lay the foundation for future study and work. But in my teaching, I found that students' writing habits are really worrying. Some writing methods are improper: some hold the pen horizontally, some hold the pen with fists, some hold it all the way to the nib, and some stay away from the nib. Some of them put pen to paper too heavily, and every word is so hard that it seems to be lettering. Some of them put pen to paper lightly, as if skimming water. Some people sit incorrectly: sitting sideways (posing as an old man drinking tea), sitting with their heads down (as if they were elderly), and some holding their chins in their hands (as if their heads would fall off). How to cultivate students' good writing habits? Through practice, I have explored the following teaching methods:

First of all, we should cultivate students' good habits of sitting correctly and holding pens.

To develop good writing habits, good writing posture is the foundation. The incorrect writing posture of primary school students is harmful, which slightly affects the writing quality and forms bad habits; In severe cases, it affects growth and development, which is not conducive to physical and mental health. Students are in a critical period of growth and development. Writing with correct sitting posture and pen holding posture is not only conducive to the standardization of writing, but also conducive to the healthy growth of students. In order to achieve this goal, I first put the key points of correct sitting posture and holding the pen into a jingle, such as: "Hold the pen in your right hand, with your back straight, your eyes about one foot away from the book, your chest about one punch away from the table, and your hand about one inch away from the nib." Let the students recite and print them to their parents, and let the parents cooperate with the school to help the students develop good writing habits.

Secondly, the problems between students should be grasped repeatedly, especially to guide students to experience the causes of the since the enlightenment problem, so as to get twice the result with half the effort. For example, in the past, grasping students' sitting posture and holding pens only required "three ones". As for why the "three ones" are needed, students don't know, and it is often difficult to persist. Now, I do my work in detail. Let them write close to the nib, and students will soon find that they can't see the nib when writing. In order to see the nib, they must lean forward and tilt their heads to the left. After a long time, students feel very uncomfortable. Tell the students that this is not only easy to fatigue, but also easy to cause myopia and spinal curvature. Keep the students' fingers away from the pen tip, so that they can feel their backs straight and their chests can punch from the edge of the table. In this way, students can develop correct pen holding posture and writing posture through experience.

In addition, with the active cooperation of parents, parents should constantly remind their children to keep correct writing posture and pen holding posture when doing homework and practicing calligraphy. In this way, teachers, parents, together, have received good results.

Second, cultivate students' good habit of writing standard words.

To master the ever-changing writing lines, you can't do it without solid basic skills. Learn the rules step by step. The study of writing skills is inseparable from this basic principle. If a word is regarded as a cleverly combined "machine", then eight basic strokes are the "parts" that make up this "machine". The accuracy of the "parts" is directly related to the normal operation of the "machine". Therefore, in the writing class, the basic strokes, the changes of strokes and the radicals of Chinese characters are the most important. In class, I teach students eight basic strokes and writing methods of radicals by combining model characters, so that students can practice repeatedly until the pens are in place and look good. With this foundation, students can apply what they have learned and gradually write standardized block letters.

Third, cultivate students' good habit of reading and pasting carefully.

Reading copybooks refers to observing copybooks through copybooks before writing, thinking carefully about copybooks, and forming a clear impression on the model words, so that the words are in the chest and the meaning is written first. Among many block letters, some famous hard-pen calligraphers such as Pang Zhonghua are good examples. However, in actual teaching, students often write it down in a hurry without reading the stickers or browsing the copybooks, so that it is futile to lose sight of one thing and lose sight of another. To improve the efficiency of writing teaching, we must cultivate students' ability and habit of reading and pasting. We guide students to brush strokes, temporary frame structure, leaving atmosphere and temporary rules and regulations in a planned and step-by-step way. For example, when drawing a stroke, guide students to observe the position of the stroke, the Fiona Fang of the stroke, the length, thickness, height and inclination of the stroke. Let the students develop the habit of reading posts with "overall grasp and careful observation".

Fourth, cultivate students' habit of "studying hard and practicing hard"

Studying hard and practicing hard are the similarities between ancient and modern calligraphers. How to make students do this? My practice is to tell stories to stimulate students' interest in writing. It is children's nature to like stories. Since ancient times, there have been many anecdotes about calligraphers or calligraphy lovers practicing calligraphy. In the writing class, I mainly introduced their deeds of studying hard and practicing calligraphy. For example, Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, simply walked to the pond in the yard and wrote and washed pens in the pond. Over time, the water in the pond turned black and became the "Mo Chi" praised by later generations as a beautiful talk. Ou Yangxun, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, looked at this ancient tablet of the Jin Dynasty for three days before leaving. This not only educates students to learn their spirit of diligent study and practice, but also stimulates students' writing enthusiasm and guides them to fight against inertia. I insist on the organic combination of literacy and writing, that is, teaching writing when teaching new words. Of course, it is impossible for students to write well only by one writing class a week. I ask students to make a calligraphy practice plan according to their own actual situation. Determine the time for practicing calligraphy every day. Practice calligraphy 15 minutes before the first class every afternoon and 15 minutes at home. Please urge parents to really implement "daily practice". Because of the guidance of teachers and the supervision of parents, students' progress is more obvious and their interest is stronger.

Fifth, cultivate students' good habit of "writing is practicing calligraphy"

Mr. Ye Shengtao once said: "We write for practical needs every day. In fact, we practice calligraphy every day." What we often see is that students practice calligraphy in one way and do their homework in another. The reasons are as follows: on the one hand, students have too much homework to give consideration to the quality of writing; On the other hand, students are not aware of the transfer of knowledge and have not formed the habit of consciously writing. To this end, I repeatedly stressed to my classmates in the writing class that we must integrate calligraphy practice into our daily work and cultivate the consciousness that "writing is the time to practice calligraphy". It is necessary to have the consciousness that "raising a pen is the time to practice calligraphy". No matter what occasion and time, as long as you raise a pen to write, you must strictly abide by the correct writing posture. In particular, we should pay close attention to daily homework, which is the best opportunity to practice writing, and cooperate with teachers in various subjects to urge students to write in a posture and form a good habit of writing seriously.

The cultivation of good writing habits is a long and arduous process, and it is also a process of honing students' will, character and quality. In this regard, teachers must be strict and practical, grasp the best period of primary school, and let primary school students develop good writing habits.
