One winter day about 1600 years ago, the heavy snow stopped, and Wang Xizhi got up and wrote a note to greet his friend. The servant hurried out with this note. Wang Xizhi stepped under the eaves and looked at Huiji Mountain in the distance. The sky and mountains in the distance are clearly defined, and the skyline is a little hazy in the cloud show after the snow. Mr. Xi just stood there, thinking about his heart, just standing. .....
There are only twenty-four words on this note: the first sentence of Xi. It's sunny when it snows, so I want to be fine. If you fail, it's over. Strength is different. Wang Xizhi nodded his head. Zhang Hou in the mountains. This note is "sunny post in the snow". You can imagine how carefully the person who received this note collected this paper with only 24 words. Later, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty got this calligraphy called "Quick Snow Clear Post", and Qianlong treasured it in the "Sanxi Hall", a small room in the West Warm Pavilion of the Forbidden City in hall of mental cultivation, with an unknown depth. This room, which can be described in square inches, is the inner back garden of an emperor. It is in this room that the emperor will relax and he can finally immerse himself in his own world. In this small room, the most worthy of the emperor's attention is that he has three calligraphy posts. They are Wang Xizhi's Quick Snow and Clear Post, Wang Xianzhi's Mid-Autumn Post and Wang Xun's Yuan Bo Post. Emperor Qianlong also wrote a set of couplets for "Sanxi Hall": embrace the past and the present, and deeply care for luxury. Sanxi Hall began in the Qianlong period and went through Jiaqing, Daoguang, Xianfeng, Tongzhi, Guangxu, Xuan Tong and other dynasties. During this period, the decoration has never changed, and it still keeps its original appearance.
The concept of "embracing the past and the present" in Sanxi Hall's couplets written in Qianlong calligraphy comes from Xie Lingyun's Reading Poems in a Lent.
The phrase "Su Hao is entrusted with deep heart" comes from Yan Yanzhi's "Five Gentlemen Ode to Chang Shi": Chang Shi refers to Xiang embroidery among the seven sages in the bamboo forest.
Now reading these two five-character poems, I have some feelings about mountains and rivers. It's just Rainbow's mood when he silently looked at Kuaiji Mountain after the heavy snow. Emperor Qianlong regarded The Notes of Three Kings as the treasure of Sanxi Hall's town hall, and the "Three Kings" were all figures in the Southern Dynasties. The common characteristics of these three notes are: few words!
Wang Xianzhi's Mid-Autumn Post has three lines and 22 words: "The Mid-Autumn Festival is gone forever, because of its great victory, the people are waiting for the army." At first glance, it's really hard to understand what this handwritten note is about. Wang Xun's "Yuan Bo Post" has 47 words in five lines: "Xun Shi nods, which is the treasure of all heroes. Take care of yourself and aim at a good trip. I can't believe this surprise. Yesterday is always like yesterday. Far from the ridge, I don't look forward to it. " A few words seem to express lingering memories and reluctance to friends who live far apart. People miss their friends when they are lonely, that's all.
Looking at these thousand-year-old letters, you will think of Jiang Xun's Letters: Years in the Southern Dynasties. The book Notes in the Southern Dynasties focuses on reading notes, which is also the way for Mr. Jiang Xun to read himself from notes.
Because of the works like Shi Shuo Xin Yu, we often assume a lot of imagination for the characters in the Southern Dynasties in advance. Mr. Wang revealed the specific living conditions of princes, daughters or characters in the Southern Dynasties, that is, the opportunity to survive in the war. In fact, in those strokes of "stunned by Youlong and stunned by Hong", there is the power to live hard. Notes of the Southern Dynasties begins with the story of Zhang in Han Dynasty, which is very special. Zhang has nothing to do with this book about calligraphy, and Zhang has no calligraphy handed down from generation to generation. It's a bit far-fetched to cut into someone who has nothing to do with calligraphy. But why start with Zhang? If you don't understand this topic and appreciate the calligraphy posts of the Southern Dynasties, you won't really close the distance between "posts" and "people".
The story that best reflects the actions of the characters in the Southern Dynasties is still from Zhang's famous sentence "Autumn wind rises, but there is a sense of perching". Zhang sang this in Song of Thinking of Wujiang River:
In this poem, the autumn wind in front of me brings the breath of my hometown Wujiang River, and "three thousand miles" just means that there is no hope of going home. "Far" is never bitter, but hard to get back. I can't say it, but I can make an excuse for myself with the help of bass. Southern and Northern Dynasties is another name of "troubled times" in China's great historical narrative. In those days, seizing the day was the normal state of life. Zhang Qiufeng's "acting according to circumstances" can save his life and live to the end of his life, which is called wisdom. However, this wisdom is based on a seemingly "food" perspective. Such an excuse has become a famous sentence through the ages, and it is the heartfelt admiration of people who know the goods. Handwritten story: The years of the Southern Dynasties began with Zhang, and it was precisely the hardships and wisdom behind the years of the Southern Dynasties that were seen. Trying to survive depends not only on wisdom, but also on resilience. This tenacity is mentioned in "Handwriting Narration: Zhang Hou's Southern Dynasties". It is hard to say that Wang Xizhi, Wang Xun and others survived in troubled times without Zhang's shadow. It is worth mentioning that Zhang's "Song of Thinking of Wujiang River" finally falls on a word of "sadness". The word "sadness" corresponds to "hate". This feeling of hate and sadness has been haunting the characters in the Southern Dynasties and falling into their pen. Those "notes" are as sad as a sad story in the southern years, just as Wang Xizhi often just writes a letter and asks a friend, "How are you?"
Living in troubled times is not compromise, but victory. This is also exemplified in later generations. Professor Umanski warned Andreev in the reform-through-labour camp in Kairema: "The key is to survive Stalin. Those who have experienced Stalin will survive. Do you understand? " (See "The Story of Colema" by Varam Shalamov). Handwriting: Years in the Southern Dynasties is not only about seeing calligraphy from handwriting, but also about the daily courage to survive in troubled times. Jiang Xun's note "Years in the Southern Dynasties" has narrowed the distance between notes and people. When we are not bound by the framework of calligraphy, we will start with the content of the words, first look at what is written in these notes, and then look at the person who wrote these words. Throughout their lives, Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi and Wang Xizhi all died peacefully in their own beds. Although the day is not fake, it is also a happy ending.
All kinds of handwritten notes quoted in "Handwriting: Years in the Southern Dynasties" don't just focus on calligraphy, but build the daily life of those handwritten notes through reading. These handwritten notes are not so particular when written, and are closer to a person's real life state and mood. Reading posts is just adding narration to the edges of these bits and pieces of daily life, and the calligraphy that penetrates the back of the paper will be smart. There is a cloud in Wang Xizhi's calligraphy: "Is it Ting Anne? Cold rogue, can't win, not seconds, helpless, nod. " ? These words are straightforward to read now, and Wang Xizhi's sense of drowsiness and boredom is scrawled. Reading these contents reminds me of what Chamberlain said: "Your daily life is your temple, your religion". When we put aside calligraphy and read the contents of cold cut posts, dinner posts, aunt posts, funeral posts and hand-held posts, we will once again see that these people who are regarded as gods often sigh in their daily lives, what a pity! A puzzled expression.
If we only focus on the brushwork of calligraphy in the Southern Dynasties, these remaining words will be ruined by us. If we saw countless melancholy for a few oranges entangled in the pen at that moment, then the life beyond black and white may be pieced together and imagined by us, and the meaning of "beauty" will be attached with more "human" news. Then the "beauty" left by this book post will come out majestic. Jiang Xun's experience is more affectionate:
Pain to the heart, pain to the liver, pain, but helpless-the most commonly used is Wang Xizhi's handwriting-but in this era, those who use "helplessness" and "helplessness" as footnotes for their lives and letters between relatives and friends can still "look up to the universe" and see the clouds rolling and relaxing. More importantly, in their life situation full of difficulties, hardships, humiliation, pain and tribulation, they still strive for live high's life, believing that culture is an ideal that can be passed down for a long time, and that handwritten ink can convey the belief of a better life and be the final witness of "beauty".
That is, in this kind of "reading posts" over and over again, we can bypass the gorgeous calligraphy performance and re-understand the lives and attitudes of these people. And imagine that they didn't forget to write a note in calligraphy when Mount Tai collapsed in front of them, then read it silently and handed it to the servants around them gently. The rest of the mood can just look out the window at the distant mountains. In the book Notes: Years in the Southern Dynasties, there are feelings besides words and notes. The language in "Hand in Hand" will be enviable to read now-"There is nothing to hate without holding hands! The first step is to fall in love and tell each other several times. Books are awkward. " Translating into modern language is simply-I hope to hold your hand! Crazy men and women will melt in this sentence! No matter what kind of stone friends will appreciate this sentence! After thousands of years, this emotion is still noisy and vivid on paper. People who see it will never be indifferent. The ambiguity and ambiguity of the original dialect in these "posts" constitute a peculiar charm when reading "posts"
Notes: The Years in the Southern Dynasties is suitable for reading in autumn and winter. The bleak season is approaching, and the mood that can be interpreted from the notes of this book coincides with the characteristics of the season. After reading this book, spring is coming. Writing is the same as reading. Whoever defines reading must sit between black and white, even an advertisement in the street is worth enjoying for a moment. Once "reading" comes, "beauty" will follow. Life is hard, if there is no "beauty", life will only be more sad. The ultimate goal of all reading is not for knowledge, not for efficiency. But: love life. So many words contain the words "love life". If we don't recognize these four words in the reading experience, we can only say that these books have been disappointed. Well, blame others.
If Wang Xizhi could see what I said above, I think he would write a note like this without thinking: "Or ask me a question." How can you talk about it? "("Snow Cold Stick ")
