"Charm of Han and Tang Dynasties-Five Major Calligraphy and Painting Exhibitions in Guilin" is a series of travelling exhibitions, which have been held in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Zhenjiang and other places. * * * More than 100 works by five painters, including Luo Yang, Zong Jiashun, Yang Weiguo, Chen Peilin and Wu Qiang, and 1 1 works by special guests were exhibited. Yang Weiguo, member of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of China Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, founder of Huigong Pavilion and Huigong Pavilion Calligraphy Law. Chen Peilin is a member of China Artists Association, a distinguished painter of Zhejiang Painting Academy and a director of Hangzhou Artists Association. Wu Qiang, member of China Folk Writers Association, president of China Calligraphy Research Institute and vice president of Jiangsu Jinling Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Although the "Five Schools" come from different regions of China, and their works have their own characteristics and styles, they keep pace with the tradition of calligraphy and painting and jointly hold exhibitions. Up to now, nearly ten roving exhibitions have been held.
At the opening ceremony, the painter spoke on behalf of Zong Jiashun, who admitted that the exhibition was particularly brilliant. All the works on display are repeatedly carved and carefully created by painters and painters, which can best reflect their standards. Moreover, this exhibition has been highly valued and strongly supported by the city leaders; Guangxi Normal University Press Group Co., Ltd. also helped each other in publishing albums and preparing exhibitions, and invited famous painters and painters such as Wang Jinhou, Bai Xiaojun, Xu Jiaxuan, Xiao Shunzhi,, Lin, Tang Changxing and Li Runyan to participate in the exhibition, which provided opportunities for painters and painters to communicate.

The charm of Han and Tang Dynasties is such a realm, full of vigorous, broad, magnificent and high-spirited passion. From the works of five painters, it is not difficult to see the glory from the distant Han and Tang Dynasties. President Jiang also said that Guangxi Normal University Press Group Company grew up in Guilin. When it inherits the charm of Han and Tang Dynasties and supports the exchange activities of calligraphy and painting, exhibitions like this will continue to be held in the future.
Li Dongming, vice chairman of Guangxi Calligraphers Association, said in his speech that in recent years, both Guangxi and Guilin are vigorously promoting cultural activities. Guangxi Calligraphers Association has held nearly 20 or 30 national, autonomous and municipal exhibitions, including this one, which is a good opportunity for learning and exchange. The activities of Guangxi Book Association have been supported by all walks of life, especially by Guangxi Normal University Press Group.
After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a large-scale calligraphy seminar was held, which was presided over by Huang Jiacheng, chairman of Guilin Calligraphers Association. Calligrapher Yang Weiguo first discussed the relationship between calligraphy tradition, inheritance and innovation. He believes that calligraphy will not be produced without inheritance, and new forms should be born in the fertile soil of tradition. The innovations of the "Five Schools" all come from the ancient people's pursuit of traditional culture. It can be said that "the charm of Han and Tang dynasties" represents an oriental wisdom and aesthetic taste, and it is also the calligraphy tradition adhered to by five painters and the soul of their calligraphy and painting creation. Painters Chen Peilin and Wu Qiang both talked about their experiences in learning books and paintings and their inheritance from others' learning. In addition, He Shaolian, Wang Xingjia, Wang Jinhou, Tang Changxing and others have also expressed their views. At the seminar, the participating painters, leaders and guests gathered together to express their opinions freely, which enhanced the academic content of the seminar.
