Usage of primary form of adjectives in junior middle school English

Used for same-level comparison between the two, indicating "... is the same as...":

① The structure of "as + primary adjective + as" means both before and after The situation is the same

"A+ linking verb + as + adjective primary + as+ B,

eg. Bill is as funny as his father.

My handwriting is as beautiful as yours. My calligraphy is as good as yours

"A+predicate verb+as+adverb primary +as+ B"

eg. Lucy speaks Chinese as well as. Lily.

② In a negative sentence, use the structure "not as/ so + primary adjective as" to indicate that the former is inferior to the latter.

"A + copula + not as/. so+adjective primary +as十B"

eg. These books aren't as interesting as those.

I am not as/ so busy as I used to be. I don't have She didn't sing so well that night as she usually does. .

③ If the adjective after the first as/so is used as an attributive to modify a noun, the noun and related modifiers should be placed after the first as/so.

We have produced as many tractors as we did last year.

I don't make as much money as you do.
