Xi Zhiqiang's Character Life
As an adult, I studied seal script and seal cutting with Mr. Kang Yin (Dakang), a famous ancient philologist and calligrapher. Every body is good, good at Wei Bei and seal script. 1990 "San Zi Jing" was published by Hunan Normal University Press, and there are many articles about coma theory. 1984 the book Oracle Bone Inscriptions and his calligraphy-removing art was selected as the national Oracle Bone Inscriptions academic seminar-Anyang Yin Ruins Pen Club. 1984 won the second prize in the national Wen Hui Calligraphy Competition, 1986 won the silver prize in the first national Shenlong Calligraphy and Seal Carving Competition, 1987 was selected in the first national seal carving evaluation exhibition of Xiling Printing Society, 1989 to 1992, and his calligraphy works were three consecutive times. Calligraphy works have participated in the "Modern International Book Fair", twice participated in Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges, and three times participated in the "International Artists' Works Joint Exhibition" organized by the Asian Art Institute of the United States. He won the National Calligraphy Competition Award for more than 20 times, among which he won the third prize of "China Contemporary Artists Exhibition" by the Ministry of Culture in 2005. He wrote more than 30 inscriptions for museums, forest of steles, historical sites and cliffs all over the country. He has published calligraphy theory's monographs such as San Zi Jing, A Survey of Calligraphy Culture in China, Ancient Rites in Qin and Han Dynasties, and University Calligraphy. He wrote "Peace Bell" for Hengyang Anti-Japanese War Memorial City, studied and sorted out silk books of Mawangdui in Changsha, and greatly praised the author. Recently, it was learned that one of Mr. Xi's works was sold at a high price of 20,000 yuan and donated to the Sichuan disaster area in the charity sale of calligraphy and painting held by Ping An Insurance Company. Recently, the Collection of Xi Zhiqiang's Calligraphy was published by China Poetry Publishing House, and his biography was included in Who's Who of Contemporary Art in China, Dictionary of World China Painters and Seal Makers, and Who's Who of China.
