Zhang Hao’s artistic introduction

Zhang Hao was born in Sheng County, Zhejiang Province (now Shengzhou City) in January 1944. He entered the Chinese Department of Hangzhou University in 1964 and graduated in 1969. After graduation, he was assigned to work as a middle school Chinese teacher in Tiantai County for 5 years. In 1977, he went to work in the county government. In 1985, he was transferred to Taizhou area to engage in administrative work. In 1988, he was transferred to Huzhou City. In 1991, he was transferred to the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Zhang Hao joined the Zhejiang Artists Association in 1981, became the first member of the Zhejiang Flower and Bird Painting Research Association in 1982, joined the Chinese Calligraphers Association in 1990, and joined the Chinese Artists Association in 1994.

He is currently a member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a director of the China Artists Association, chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Province Artists Association, honorary chairman of the Zhejiang Flower and Bird Painters Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. In 2000, he was appointed as a part-time professor at the School of Humanities of Zhejiang University and a distinguished researcher at the Institute of Chinese Art of Zhejiang University.
