Dacheng academy lixue lecture hall

The "Li Xue Lecture Hall" and "Lecture Hall" of the Academy are both 10 m square, and the front wall is a frame structure with doors and windows, which is an important part of the Academy building. The "lecture hall" is about 10 meter high, with three single-eaved arches, six buckets in each room, and two arches in every three buckets, which is very compact. It looks tall, majestic and spectacular. On the gate of the lecture hall is the "Li Xue Lecture Hall" inscribed by Wu Sanda, a famous calligrapher in China. On both sides of the gate are the couplets inscribed by Ma Xiaoxiao, a famous calligrapher: "Li Xue sees sincerity, and the tree respects the teacher as a model; Set up a hall to reason, and keep the wind of teaching. " The gold-lettered plaque, like the finishing touch, inlaid pearls for the lecture hall.

The "lecture hall" shaped the sitting statue of Cheng Hao in the middle, and reproduced the ancient historical scene of his "spring breeze" in receiving people and treating things. According to historical records, Cheng Hao usually sits alone or closes his eyes, or thinks about problems. He always looks serious and motionless, like a sculpture. However, answering questions for students or treating others is all smiles and affable.
