2. Run the script.

A Chinese character font. It is developed and originated on the basis of regular script, a font between regular script and cursive script, in order to make up for the shortcomings of slow writing speed and illegible cursive script. It uses some cursive strokes, which are neither involved in twists and turns like cursive script, difficult to identify, nor neat and laborious like regular script. Simple shape, smooth strokes, saving time and effort in daily writing.

It has been popular since the Jin Dynasty. The most famous masterpiece of running script is Preface to Lanting written by Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, which is known as "the best running script in the world".

3. cursive script.

A Chinese character font. Formed in the Han Dynasty, it evolved on the basis of official script for the convenience of writing. The font is simpler than Li and Kai, and the strokes are tortuous, which is convenient for quick writing. Since the Han Dynasty, many changes have taken place in body posture, such as Cao Zhang, modern grass, wild grass and walking grass.

Cursive script pays attention to the joint echo of stippling between words and is suitable for the principle of pen rotation. Otherwise, the stippling structure will appear chaotic. The constant transformation of brush strokes forms the word potential, and cursive script pays special attention to the word potential or body potential, which can be said to be the core of cursive script structure.

4. Official script.

A Chinese character font. It evolved from seal script. The font was changed from rectangle to square, and the strokes were changed from circle to square, which laid the foundation for regular script. It is an important stage in the transformation from pictographic Chinese characters to non-pictographic Chinese characters. It began in Qin dynasty and prevailed in Han dynasty. It was originally used by disciples, hence the name.

In the font structure, it is longer and flatter, adding the iconic long-wave painting, which is also the representative stroke of Lishu. In the use of pens, Fang Bi and Zhebi appeared, and Fiona Fang combined them to make the brushwork more complete. Compared with seal script, the font is more abstract, no longer pictographic like seal script, and the font is very similar to regular script.

5. seal script.

The general term for big seal and small seal. A Chinese character font. This is a popular font in Han Dynasty. Broadly speaking, it also includes Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Jin Wen.

There are many pictographic characters in Da Zhuan, with various forms of expression, most of which are based on form. Such as horses and sheep. Because the structural rules have not yet been standardized. The shapes and positions of Oracle Bone Inscriptions radicals are scattered. It was only after the unification of characters that Qin Xiao Zhuan tended to be unified, but there were still many pictographs with different meanings.

Small seal style is flat, horizontal and vertical, which is a close and neat calligraphy form. From the structure to the brushwork, it is mainly round, and the outline of the word is naturally oval because of the elongated reticle in the center of the word, such as Chinese characters and Chinese characters.

6. regular script

Also known as official books, block letters and real books. A Chinese character font. It evolved from official script, with square font, symmetrical structure and neat strokes. It started at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and has been in use ever since.

There are eight kinds of regular script stippling: one point, horizontal, vertical, left, press, lift (pick), fold and hook. Regular script strokes are neat and regular. The regular development of regular script strokes has formed the eight methods of permanent characters. It is both a writing method and a writing method. All strokes of regular script are summarized in eight methods. Each stroke is not isolated, but echoes other strokes.
