Bo Yan, born in Yining, Jiangxi (now Xiushui), is an important representative of modern Tongguang Poetry School.
Tongguang: Tongguang refers to the titles of Tongzhi and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. From the ninth year of Guangxu (1883) to the twelfth year, Zheng, Zheng and Zheng began to flaunt the name of this school of poetry, claiming to be "a poet who did not stick to the prosperous Tang Dynasty since he was in the same light." With the pursuit of a large number of literati in the later period, "Tongguang" gradually became a formed poetic style.
Its main feature is to learn from both the Song Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty, but the latter is mainly inclined to Han Yu, Meng Jiao and Liu Zongyuan in the middle Tang Dynasty, rather than Li Bai and Du Fu in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
