The geriatric education professional class of Shantou Radio and Television University offers five professional courses: dance, vocal music, calligraphy, health preservation, and Tai Chi. The first phase of *** has five classes, with an average age of 200 students, 60 years old, and a maximum age of 83 years old. The students received their own teaching materials and course schedule after the opening ceremony, and they will start their four-month study here. The school will carefully analyze the characteristics of education for the elderly, combine it with the new learning needs of the elderly, scientifically and rationally arrange the course content, and carry out various forms of teaching activities that focus on effectiveness, so that the teaching content and teaching methods are more suitable for the learning interests and requirements of the elderly.
