Brief introduction of Lutong

Lu Tong, a famous calligrapher, 1947, from Shenyang. His ancestral home is in Hebei. Graduated from Minzu University of China, member of CPC112 in Shenyang, member of China Association for Promoting Democracy, visiting professor of Liaoning University and Shenyang Radio and TV University, honorary chairman of China Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, and president of Shenyang National Painting and Calligraphy Institute. National first-class artist and professor. He is good at all kinds of calligraphy styles, especially at the research and creation of Xixia calligraphy. He has published more than 70 collections of Lu Tong's calligraphy works, calligraphy monographs and copybooks, and held 55 lectures on "Lu Tong Calligraphy Series" at Liaoning TV Station 1994 and 1997. Lu Tong's calligraphy works have been presented to foreign heads of state as national gifts for many times, and their works have been treasured by the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Zhongnanhai, Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, People's Daily and CCTV.
