Master Xing Yun: Buddhism teaches you how to build good relationships.

In the past, some people lit a street lamp to make friends with pedestrians, some made a tea kiosk to deliver tea to people, some made a bridge to connect people on both sides of the strait, some dug a well to support people who became friends with the public, and some sent a clock to tie the time with you. These are all valuable good deeds. As long as people have kindness, natural good deeds are everywhere, and good doors are everywhere! I will now outline several ways of attachment:

(1) Economic affinity-Sometimes we can build ties with others with a dollar, which not only brings intimacy to others, but may even save others' lives. For example, there was an accident on the highway, and someone wanted to call the police for help, but there was only money without coins, so there was no way to change money. At this time, you lent him a dollar, the ambulance came at once, and the doctor came, and many patients who were dying of bleeding were rescued in time. Your good luck with this dollar is great!

(2) Language affinity-when others are discouraged, you encourage them to say a word, and the other party will feel rescued; When others are disappointed, if you praise him, he will feel that life is much cuter. The so-called "words of praise, glory in Zhou Hua; The derogatory term is stricter than the axe. " Sometimes a kind word can really make people feel happy and the world clear!

(3) Becoming attached to merit-a small favor can be a great merit. Once upon a time there was a child in Holland. In the evening, when he was walking home from the levee by the sea, he happened to find a small hole on the levee, and the sea water was slowly flowing out of the hole. He thought, oh, this is amazing! If we don't plug it up as soon as possible, the dam will burst tomorrow and the sea will flood the whole city. As soon as the child found something to block, he blocked it with his fingers. He stood in the wind and rain, waiting from dark until dawn, waiting for no one all night. It was only after dawn that it was discovered that he was stunned by the cold and his fingers were tightly stuffed in the hole. Everyone was moved to learn that their fingers had saved the lives and property of the whole city. Therefore, "don't do it with small evils, don't do it with small goodness", a small kindness can save countless lives and achieve infinite merits.

(4) Educational affinity-we can also use knowledge or technical practice to generate affinity with people. Every day, whether in Taipei or Penghu, there are180,000 teachers all over the country instilling knowledge and knowledge, which improves the knowledge level of the people and promotes the prosperity and progress of the country. You teach others a little knowledge or technology today, and tomorrow it will become his ability to stand on the world; Often a wise language may affect the other person's life, become his guide and become the foundation of his life.

(5) service affinity-giving others a little convenience in some things will sometimes become the object of admiration and admiration. For example, the police helped the old woman cross the road at the crossroads and set up a good image of the people's nanny; The salesgirl kindly guides the guests to buy things, so that customers can enjoy the fun of buying; On the bus, the children politely offered their seats to the elderly, which made us full of confidence in the future of our country. From these services in daily life, we can see whether our society is a progressive and developed society.

(6) Physical affinity-a smile and a raise of your hand sometimes bring you unexpected good karma. Once there was an unemployed young man wandering in front of Taipei Railway Station, staring blankly at the busy scenery, trying to find a rich man's car and kill himself, so that the poor old mother could live with a pension. Just when he was desperate, a noble and beautiful lady walked past him and nodded at him with a slight smile. As soon as young people are happy, they forget to commit suicide. The next day, he actually found a job to support his family. He didn't want to die! How big is the reason for smiling.

Sometimes you don't have to go to the mountains to practice or collect money to learn from Buddhism and do merit. Sometimes a kind word, a good deed, a smile, and a little knowledge can make a fool of people and achieve great achievements in our lives. There are four famous Buddhist mountains in China, and each of them has a bodhisattva handed down from generation to generation, which is what we usually call Guanyin Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. These four Bodhisattvas have their own reasons:

Guanyin bodhisattva is merciful to all beings. In his compassion wish, all sentient beings accepted the law of compassion and achieved compassion.

According to the will, the Tibetan Bodhisattva said, "All sentient beings have proved Bodhi, and the hell is not empty, and they will never become Buddhas!" For thousands of years, these four boundless wishes of the Bodhisattva Dizang have pointed out the road to becoming a Buddha for the world and the ever-burning lamp for Buddhism!

Manjusri Bodhisattva, with wisdom as the blade, speaks supreme dharma, shows light for the blind, plays dharma sounds for the darkness, and creates a profound and wonderful realm of Prajna for China Buddhism with its wisdom and great wisdom.

Bodhisattva samantabhadra is based on practice, all gestures are Tao, and all smiles are not illegal, which sets a simple and pragmatic Taoist model and lofty demeanor for China Buddhism.

Except for the four great bodhisattvas, all the eminent monks and great virtues in Buddhism have their own unique persistent methods. For example:

Master Hongyi became attached to people through calligraphy and precepts. As long as people who admire Buddhism do not hesitate to write scriptures with pen and ink. He practiced strictly, abided by the precepts, never slandered the law, never broke the precepts, and set a lofty example for Buddhism: "Hua Zhi Man Chun, Tian Yuan Xinyue".

Xu Yun, an old monk, became attached to people through meditation. If you don't move, you will, if you don't leave, you will, and if you don't say it, you will, and the flow of publicizing the law will follow the trend and not follow the trend.

Master Taixu, on the other hand, took quotations as the reason, or interpreted Prajna in words, or enlightened the maze by giving lectures, and ran around, thus providing a cool prescription for the revival of Buddhism in China.

The master of good guidance uses light to bond with the public, so that the blind will not be blind, so that the blind can regain their wisdom and bring a bright future to the dark and dirty world.

Master Yin Guang became attached to Buddhism, guiding believers to strengthen their confidence in Amitabha's pure land, and forged a Miao Shan karma with Buddha.

Others, such as the elders of India, became attached to charity and built the Gion Refinery, which became the place where the Buddha spread in northern India and was admired by the whole country. Another example is the release of Zen master Yongming Yanshou, who saved countless aquatic animals from the disaster of oil pan. Dragon pants Buddhists became attached to offer tea, so that hungry travelers and vagrants can get the moisture of dew and cool shade, and have the power to travel further!

Society depends on the joint operation of groups to play its functional role, and even personal life depends on the cooperation of the six parties to live a happy life. Everything in our daily life depends on the seamless cooperation of scholars, farmers, workers and businessmen, so that we can be well-fed and avoid want. So thanks to karma, thanks to many people who have made us. If we want to have a prosperous career and a happy life, we must have a good relationship with all sentient beings in this world, even in the future, even with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Be able to grasp karma, create karma and follow karma. "Ten parties come, ten parties go, and * * * is ten things; Ten thousand people give and ten thousand people give up, all of which are welcome. " You will become a Buddha, and Bodhi will prove it!

Finally, I wish you all become the most admired people, with good karma and great achievements!
