The famous calligrapher Sang Calligraphy Exhibition 20 1 1 was held in Jiangsu Painting Shop in Chaotian Palace, Nanjing on March 25th, with nearly 50 fine calligraphy works on display. Sang is a national first-class artist and a professor at the training center of China Calligraphers Association. In the early 1970s, he studied under three calligraphers, Lin Sanzhi, Gao Ershi and Xiao Xian. After more than 50 years of tempering, his calligraphy works have formed the characteristics of profound brushwork, natural and vivid. The big characters in his works are running through the back of the paper, and the small characters are exquisite and dignified, delicate and gentle. Calligrapher Li Xiao rated his works as "the temperament of a little sage, the momentum of Gao Ershi and the charm of Lin Sanzhi". The audience can appreciate his calligraphy from the calligraphy works on display this time.
