The steps of writing Chinese characters in regular script are as follows:
1, practice with exercise paper or brush. The elasticity of brush and the fluidity of ink are suitable for writing regular script.
2. Control the length and thickness of strokes. The strokes of Chinese characters should be of appropriate length, neither too long nor too short. At the same time, the thickness should be controlled according to the position and focus of strokes to form beautiful line changes.
3. Pay attention to the overall balance of Chinese characters. All parts of Chinese characters should be evenly distributed and the overall shape should be symmetrical. Horizontal, vertical, left, hook and other parts should coordinate with each other to avoid one part being too prominent or not obvious.
4. Control the speed and strength of paddling. When writing Chinese characters, we should control the writing speed and strength according to the nature of strokes and the writing rhythm. Fast and light strokes can show the fluency and naturalness of regular script.
5. Pay attention to the stroke order of Chinese characters. Writing Chinese characters according to the correct stroke order is helpful to form clear structure and beautiful lines. Please refer to the stroke order of TCM characters mentioned above.
6. Keep practicing. Calligraphy needs long-term practice. Through continuous writing and revision, the quality and style of writing can be gradually improved.
