Jiangsu Calligraphers Association is a group member of Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, which was founded in 1980. 1980, Jiangsu Branch of China Calligraphers Association was established in Ning, and Wu Zhongqi was elected as its chairman. 199 1 Jiangsu Branch of China Calligraphers Association was approved to become an enterprise legal person in Jiangsu Province and renamed as "Jiangsu Calligraphers Association".
Since the establishment of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, Jiangsu Calligraphers have been organized to go deep into life, to carry out calligraphy seal cutting creation and academic research activities, to hold various calligraphy seal cutting exhibitions, calligraphy training and education activities, and to extensively carry out calligraphy exchanges at home and abroad. The third member congress of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association was held in Nanjing on September 23rd. 1998, Wei Tianchi was elected as the chairman.
