Gangwei town science education culture and health

Gangwei town culture has strong local characteristics, and mass cultural activities are rich and colorful. There are mainly operas, folk dances, folk stories, folk songs, riddles, calligraphy and painting. Among them, there are xiang opera, Nanqu, Peking Opera "Da Xuan Bu", "Sweeping the Floor" and "Storytelling". Folk dances include Cheguxiang and Gongbei Shipo. Folk stories include One Day with the Official Department, Huang Nan's Ambassadors Embroidering Lingqi, Mrs. Chong Dou, Legend of the Origin of Wu Tai, Butterfly Cave in Zhenhai, Killing Mazu Demon in Wuyu Island, White Elephant Throwing into the River like a Turtle, Gong Zu Without Ears, Like a Girl, and Live Stone Chicken. Folk songs include "God never shuts one door but he opens another", "Father Moon", "Dry Mouse", "Bamboo Shoots", "The Japanese plane is coming" and so on. Calligraphy and painting culture has a long history, and talented people come forth in large numbers: Chen Zhensheng's calligraphy and painting art in the Ming Dynasty became famous all over the world and was included in the dictionary of celebrities in China. During the Republic of China, Greensu Yuwen's calligraphy was deeply loved by the world and was called "Mang Bi Gong". After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), many Hong Kong people joined calligraphy and artists' associations in counties, cities and provinces. 1987 Gao Jianguo, an artist from Longhai Cultural Center, cooperated with others in tunnel warfare and was selected for the 60th anniversary national art exhibition.
