What is a high-level art troupe?

High-level art troupe enrollment refers to some colleges and universities recruiting candidates with artistic expertise in order to enliven campus culture and enrich campus life. It's not the same thing as enrolling art majors in the college entrance examination. Candidates who apply for a high-level art troupe can enjoy the preferential admission policy of the college entrance examination after passing the art examination, enter the general professional study after being admitted to colleges and universities, and participate in college literary rehearsals and performances in their spare time.

Art troupe enrollment mainly recruits the chief actor of the art troupe or the members of the art troupe who have higher requirements for young talents, and does not recruit artistic specialties unrelated to the art troupe. Experimental colleges that have opened art majors no longer recruit art students with corresponding professional projects separately, and art, calligraphy and broadcasting hosting are generally not included in the enrollment scope of art groups. At present, there are 53 universities with enrollment qualifications approved by the Ministry of Education, and the enrollment scale of high-level art troupes does not exceed 1% of the undergraduate enrollment plan of the pilot universities in the previous year.
