Information of China Folk Volunteers

There are too many such deeds that the landlord casually looks for. I found two examples for you.

During the nine nights of rescue in Hanwang Town, Mianzhu City, there were many unforgettable things and many unforgettable people. Lori is one of my most unforgettable people.

During this period, I met Lori, a volunteer who cooperated with us to find the victims and specially disinfected the rotting bodies.

Lori is 27 years old. After he was demobilized from the army, he did not have a formal job and has been working in Deyang City. After the earthquake, he rushed to Mianzhu Earthquake Relief Headquarters and Hanwang Town Earthquake Relief Headquarters on May 14 to report to join the ranks of volunteers and do his part for the people in the disaster area. However, few of the tens of thousands of volunteers are willing to disinfect the bodies of the victims, so Lori took the initiative to undertake this arduous and dangerous work. Lori said to me: After the earthquake, my first wish was to come to the disaster area to save some living people. I didn't expect the disaster area to be such a miserable scene. I didn't save anyone alive, just disinfected the bodies of more than 30 victims. I have no regrets about this job, and I only do my part for the disaster area.

On May 26th, aftershocks occurred frequently in Chengdu, Sichuan. Yun Zhou, who went to the disaster area as a "civil volunteer", seemed a little at a loss at first. First, I sent my stationery, plush toys, diapers and other relief materials for children in disaster areas to a private volunteer base camp, but I didn't accept the other party's request that she continue to work in the base camp. "Those who answer the phone, contact, delivery of goods, others can do. I just want to go deep into the disaster area and be a psychological counselor. "

Later, she contacted the famous "Shen Team" in the disaster area. Shen interviewed her on the phone and finally agreed to accept it. In Nanning, Yun Zhou told reporters about his unforgettable experience in the disaster area:

Carry three boxes of supplies on the plane.

On May 22nd, I first signed up for the psychological intervention medical team of the Ministry of Health and decided to go to the disaster area. I was asked to bring some crayons, plasticine and Tom and Jerry DVD. So I posted fundraising information on a small scale in several Q groups. I didn't expect everyone to be enthusiastic, go shopping separately, and some people deliver the whole box. My friends in New Things are very supportive. Interestingly, some bar guests also donated a lot of materials, and as a result, they received 16 boxes of various sizes in a few days.

After I arrived in Chengdu, I sent three boxes of materials to a volunteer base camp called "Ding Dian", and it is said that they were later sent to Deyang. The remaining 13 boxes of materials were driven away by another volunteer three days later ... In short, everyone I met knew that I was going to the disaster area in those days and gave me all the help I could, feeling very warm. Later, on June 14, I attended a lecture by psychologists from Sichuan University. He said, "Many people feel this way during the hero's honeymoon when the disaster happens-if only everyone did this at ordinary times!" The audience present applauded knowingly. I believe this is the same feeling that many people have had. The rise of personal and social functions in the short term after the disaster is the only "one benefit" in natural disasters. It was the unity and altruism of this period that gave people hope and courage to persist in and rebuild their homes.

Join the "Shen Team"

After arriving in Chengdu, I contacted Mr. Shen, but he was very busy and often had to interrupt the conversation on the phone. Moreover, his environment is noisy and he can't hear many words clearly. On the morning of May 27th, I called Mr. Shen again and finally got his accurate answer. He asked me to go to Deyang, and when I arrived, I contacted a teacher named radar. This is the first time I have heard the name radar. At that time, I didn't know that we had only known each other for 13 days. Later, he had an accident because of work fatigue and left us.

When I was about to leave for Nanning, I was shocked to hear the news of Mr. Radar's death. Due to post-earthquake fatigue and poor road conditions, he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Deyang from Changhong resettlement site of Beichuan Middle School on June 9, leaving his elderly parents and his wife who was about to give birth. From the "5. 12" Wenchuan earthquake to the day of his death, he had been working continuously for nearly a month, working for earthquake relief for more than 18 hours every day.

Just arrived in Deyang to join the "Soul Garden" that night, Mr. Radar talked to me. I confessed my sense of powerlessness to him and told him my work attitude of "seeking nothing but nothing". He said it was better than wanting to be an expert. He said calmly that everyone who came to the disaster area came with his own purpose-the recognition and tolerance in this sentence released me. This is my first impression of radar. In work and life, he will drink every bottle of mineral water we open-no matter who drinks the rest; He and Mr. Li Yin both asked us that if the headquarters didn't take the initiative, we would never order food from the headquarters, nor would it bring trouble to the disaster area. Every night, he would knock on the door outside our tent and say good night to us. He took us to Hanwang in his car. On the way, he sincerely said, I really like our team ... I clearly remember that on the evening of June 10, all the volunteers held a memorial service for Teacher Lei in the main tent of Deyang workstation in "Soul Garden". In front of his mourning hall, I silently said in my heart, if there is an opportunity, I hope you will be our big brother and our leader.

Children's sandbox story

It began to rain two or three days after arriving in Deyang, and it became very cold. The children are almost past June 1st. I went to Tianyuan resettlement site to teach the children there to sing "Grateful Heart". On weekdays, many people are bored with the spread of this song, but at this time, this song combined with the expression of sign language can guide emotions and boost morale. When more than 40 children pointed to the sky in front of them, and the immature children sang "I want God to know that I won't give up" loudly, I was moved to tears by the lively and spontaneous vitality of breaking through all the repression and obstacles.

On the afternoon of May 29th, the sand table, the most important psychological intervention tool in the "Soul Garden", arrived. Two standard wooden sand tables and two simple plastic sand tables immediately attracted children. Sandplay is played on the unconscious level, especially for children with incomplete cerebral cortex development and imperfect speech function. We can understand children's emotions or feelings through sand painting, and understand the unknown content hidden in the unconscious because of limited expressive ability, which is also one of the secrets of sand table games.

On the same day, we also met Mr. Shen, the core figure of the team. He has just returned from Mianyang Xinbeichuan Middle School. He is about 1.8 meters tall, strong, bearded and fast-talking. As soon as he saw us, he said, "The psychological state of the children in this earthquake is beyond all my previous experiences."

The next afternoon, I started playing sand table with a boy with big eyes and a younger boy. The three of us each chose a villain to represent ourselves, and then made up a story and put it on the sand table. The story goes something like this: On an island, three brothers and sisters live a quiet and happy life. My sister takes care of my younger brothers, who have a good time and occasionally make trouble, such as climbing the roof. There are five diners on the island (played by four Altmen and a toy man on the Yangtze River No.7). In order to protect their brothers and sisters, they go to the island once a year. On this day, as soon as the patron saint left, the bad guys came, launched an earthquake and destroyed everything on the island. My brothers hid in the big shells by the sea, and my sister was crushed under the tree, which was terrible ... Later, the patron saint Changjiang VII led other patrons back to the island. Together, they subdued the bad guys and brought the island back to life, and the brothers and sisters lived a happy life again.

It was after the sand table was placed this time that the boy with big eyes changed his attitude towards me and became very attached to me. He stopped calling me a teacher or aunt and called me Sister Yun Zhou. He helped me press my shoulder, and when someone invited him to eat ice cream, he asked him to leave one for me, and other little boys were not allowed to "bully" me while playing.

Among the "sand table children" I have come into contact with, TJ impressed me the most. The first time he played the sand table, he mumbled while playing, and there was a toy child next to every house. I asked him if he liked children very much, but he didn't look up and continue to play with him, saying, "Do you know how painful it is to lose children?"

This sentence comes from the mouth of a 6-and-a-half-year-old child who has just experienced a major earthquake. I was shocked and couldn't believe my ears. I almost subconsciously asked, "What did you say?" He repeated, "Don't you know how painful it is to lose a child's family?"

My heart is full of surprises, first, for his mature psychological feelings, and second, for his equally mature expressive ability-this is a child who can express his feelings with rhetorical questions before he goes to primary school. After he finished, he continued to concentrate on the game without waiting for my answer. Halfway through the game, TJ began to shake the sand table. He said, earthquake! I asked him, what magnitude earthquake is this? He added: "For people with 1. 1, don't panic, only people with 12 will panic." Then he asked me, "Teacher, when will the earthquake end?" ? What is the magnitude of this earthquake? "He said," I told my parents many times that I hope the earthquake is a dream. "

The last time TJ and I made a sand table, the pattern obviously changed. He left more open spaces, and the sand tools were placed with obvious themes and order, and there were "positive energy" sand tools such as hearts and stars. He also chose a house to represent our settlement, which is an obvious manifestation of the enhanced sense of reality. Most importantly, this time, there was no earthquake.
