Grain painting uses various natural plant seeds as raw materials, uses cardboard, glass, and wooden frames as drawing boards, and uses toothpicks and tweezers as brushes. It uses inherent natural beginnings and pure natural colors, and is processed to stick, Using technical means such as pasting, collage, and carving, and using modeling techniques such as composition, lines, and light and dark colors, the seeds are arranged and pasted into pictures according to their natural colors, forming a unique visual art form.
Anti-corrosion measures are an industry secret.
Production process:
Method:
1. First draw simple patterns such as fish, flowers and birds on cardboard;
2. Then select beans of suitable color and size, dip a toothpick in white glue, and stick it to the pattern on the cardboard;
3. After drying, a beautiful seed painting is born!
Take seed collage as an example to introduce the production process:
1. Production materials
(1) A piece of plywood, the size depends on the frame;
(2) Various seeds: such as pepper seeds, sunflower seeds, lentils, wheat, linseed, rapeseed, A few seeds of mung beans, broad beans, peas (can also be modified according to the actual situation);
(3) Tools: tweezers, glue, plastic, scraper, utility knife, varnish, paintbrush, pencil, chopping board ,Paper.
2. Production process
(1) Determine the frame size and design the pattern. If you are not good at drawing, you can select a picture, then take a piece of paper of the same size as the picture, divide it into the same number of squares as the selected pattern, and divide them according to the lines in the squares of the original picture. Draw accurately onto paper. The finer the grid divisions, the higher the accuracy.
(2) Cover the plywood with patterned paper, secure it with thumbtacks or tape, and then use a pen to trace the pattern repeatedly to leave clear lines on the board.
(3) Based on the different appearance and texture of the seeds, make an overall idea and determine the various parts of the seeds. Some seeds can be split with a knife and used, such as sunflower seeds.
(4) Apply a little glue on the board and spread it evenly with a spatula. Then fill each part with seeds in order from top to bottom. Depending on the size of the seeds, use your hands or tweezers to sprinkle large seeds, and sprinkle the small seeds evenly on the specified area with a funnel made of paper. After all the seeds have been filled in, press the seeds firmly with your hands and trim them after the glue dries slightly to remove excess seeds.
(5) Wait for the glue to dry overnight, then spray varnish. It is best to apply several thin layers.
(6) After the paint dries, a wonderful seed paste painting is completed. You can decorate it slightly, hang it on the wall, or press it under a glass countertop.
