Appreciation of the original text of ancient Chinese opera poems

Drama (Liu Zongyuan)

I have been troubled by official hats and robes for a long time, so I am glad to be an exile in this barbaric south.

I am now a neighbor of growers and harvesters, and I am a guest of the mountain forest.

I plow in the morning, turn over the grass with dew, and tie a fishing boat at night to break the quiet stream.

I walked back and forth, hardly meeting anyone, singing long poems and staring at the blue sky.

To annotate ...

1, hairpin group: this means being an official.

2. Nanyi: This refers to the ethnic minority areas in the south at that time.

3. decline: exile.

4, night list: night flight.

5. Chutian: Yongzhou is an ancient Chu State.

Being bound by the official position for a long time, it is lucky to be demoted to Nanyi this time.

In my spare time, I often live next to farmland and vegetable gardens, and occasionally like to live alone in the mountains.

In the morning, I go to plow the fields, clear the bare weeds, and at night, I take a boat and run along the stream stones.

Alone, I can't touch the vulgar generation, look up at the blue sky in Chutian and sing for myself.

Make an appreciative comment

This poem was written by Liu Zongyuan when he was demoted to Yongzhou. The whole poem is about living in a good place, being free, going alone and stealing safety. The first four sentences describe the reason for coming here and your own behavior. The last four sentences describe their actions in the morning and evening. The first four sentences imply complaining. "I am now a neighbor of growers and harvesters" has the concept of "picking chrysanthemums under the east fence"; "I plow in the morning and turn over the grass" has the wind of "morning prosperity and thinning" Shen Deqian commented: "Reciting Yuxi is in a difficult situation, making a clear and indifferent voice, with no complaints, no regrets, and sometimes knowing between the lines." This is very insightful.
