Jin Yunchang, Mongolian, Beijinger, was born in 1957. Director of China Calligraphers Association and member of appraisal and evaluation committee.

1982 graduated from the Chinese Department of Capital Normal University and stayed there to teach ancient Chinese. He used to be the executive director of the Beijing Language Society and the secretary general of the Ancient Chinese Research Association. At the same time, he studied calligraphy under Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi and Mr. Kang Yin, participated in the calligraphy art education major of the First Normal University and the establishment of the first calligraphy doctoral program in China, and was hired as an associate professor and master tutor.

1997 to the Palace Museum in Beijing. The following year, he served as the deputy director of Gu Shuhua Department of the hospital. Over the years, I have been guarding the national treasures of calligraphy and painting and inscriptions in the hospital, concentrating on research, broadening my horizons, and improving my artistic accomplishment and identification ability rapidly.

I like calligraphy since I was a child. I first studied Tang Kai, then Wei Bei, and I was also a cursive writer with Erwang and Li Yong. When I arrived at the Forbidden City, I had the honor to consult Mr. Liu Bingsen. He understood the truth that "the ancient times do not take advantage of the times, but today there are different disadvantages" and integrated the fresh and elegant present into the dignified and vigorous traditional book style.

The emergence of aesthetic consciousness. His works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times and won awards, which has been widely criticized by collectors.

In his spare time, he has published a variety of calligraphy works, taught in Peking University, National People's Congress, Normal University and other schools, and taught in CCTV's "The Truth in Tasting Monuments", "Wei Bei Tutorial" and China Education TV's "Calligraphy Tutorial" programs. He has also served as a member of the expert appraisal group of CCTV's "Investment Art", "Jianbao" and "Treasure Hunt" programs for a long time, and often appears on the screen.
