The origin of Loushanguan

Loushanguan was formerly known as Gao Yanzi, also known as Black Cliff. Guan's name can be traced back to the history of Han Geography written by Ban Gu, a historian in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and he called Loushan "Brown Mountain". According to Zheng Zhen, a famous scholar in Zunyi in the late Qing Dynasty, "No Wolf Mountain" is Loushan, also known as Dalou Mountain. According to Tongzi County Records, in the third year of Tang Ganfu (AD 876), at the request of the imperial court, Yang Duan, a native of Taiyuan, led villagers such as Cheng, Lou, Liang, Zhao and Wei to recover Bozhou, expel Nanzhao forces and divide the land into hereditary ones. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will defend its soil in the world. His son Loushanguan and the son of Liang are cousins of Rong Gaoyanzi, and they are collectively called Louguan, hence the name. Yang Yinglong, the grandson of Yang Duan in the 29th generation of Ming Dynasty, rebelled against the Ming Dynasty and was pacified by the court. He changed Loushanguan to "Taiping Pass", but people still used to call it Loushanguan.

According to Lou and Liang Jiapu, after three years in office, when Sun Liang, the eighth ancestor of Tianzu, and Dianbang, his uncle, were both lieutenant generals, he was ordered to enter the DPRK to broadcast with General Yang Duanping, and was stationed at the black cliff in Zuntong Mountain. Later, Lou Shan, the son of Dianbang, followed in his father's footsteps and guarded the black cliff. Later, Loushan and Guan Liang were ordered to go south and set up a business in Anshun. People in Heishanya miss the friendship with Loushanguan and Guanliang garrison, so they renamed Heishanya as "Loushanguan" one by one and later called "Loushanguan".

1932, Huang Pimo (Huang Daobin), then director of the Civil Affairs Department of Guizhou Province, wrote three cursive words "Loushanguan" at the junction of Zunyi and Tongzi counties on the Sichuan-Guizhou Highway.

1985, in order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Zunyi Conference, Zunyi County Government made a large-scale sculpture "Loushanguan" on the rocks in the northeast of Loushanguan. The word "Loushanguan" was inscribed by Shu Tong, a famous calligrapher in China. Mo Yan has a total length of 1 1 m and a word diameter of 2.3 m. The brushwork is vigorous and powerful, and the seal cutting is fiery red, which is particularly eye-catching in Xiongguan Song Qing.
