There are three vertical row and horizontal column layouts:
One is that the line spacing is basically equal, the word spacing is uneven, the word size is unequal or even wide, and the number of words per line is unequal. This form of gas line is linear, which has the advantages of seeking change in neatness and unity in change, and is suitable for writing in block letters, running scripts and cursive scripts.
The other is that the line spacing is basically the same, the word spacing is uneven, and the words change greatly, from big to small, from oblique to positive, from light to heavy, from thin to fat, from loose to tight, from sparse to dense, forming a combination of density and black and white contrast. This form of qi line is curved, characterized by changeable rhythm, obvious contrast and rich sense of rhythm, which is suitable for running script and cursive script.
There is also a case where the line spacing is uneven and the density is uneven, and the gas line is straight, oblique or curved.
The difference in the size and distance of the characters can make the whole work appear regional density, looseness or blank, which forms a strong contrast, intensifies the change of rhythm and produces special artistic effects. This format is suitable for running script, cursive script and other books.
"Harmony" is the general requirement of layout. No matter the size of the space or the number of words, it is a unity. Harmony mainly includes the following points: brushwork harmony, blank space harmony, style harmony and font harmony.
