Autobiography of Liu Yurong

? Liu Yurong, member of Tonghua Artists Association, director of Huinan County Artists Association. Born in 1971 in Huinan County, Jilin Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Jilin Normal University with a bachelor's degree.

I have had a strong interest in painting since I was a child. I started working in 1992 and worked successively at Shengli School in Meihekou City, Baolin School in Huinan County, Dongjie School in Chaoyang Town, Harvard After-school Tutoring School, and Miao School. He teaches at the Miao Art Center and has been engaged in art education and teaching.

? Over the years, students have been organized to participate in calligraphy and painting competitions held in various provinces, cities and counties across the country. The results have been remarkable, and the students have won the first, second, third and special prizes in the country. He himself has also been awarded the title of National Painting and Calligraphy Education and Teaching Gardener and Outstanding Counselor many times. Education and teaching papers have also been published in provincial education publications, and he has received more than 30 award certificates and medals. He has also frequently won awards in calligraphy and painting competitions held by various provinces, cities and counties.

? In terms of painting skills, I started with traditional painting, constantly studied the painting techniques of some famous artists, and persisted in painting practice for a long time. After work, he continued to practice calligraphy. Not only did he improve his calligraphy a lot, but he also improved his painting skills. The ancients said: calligraphy and painting have the same origin, and this is the truth.

? In addition to learning traditional painting techniques, he also constantly improves his own cultivation. The continuous improvement of appreciation ability and skills has also laid a solid foundation for my own creation, and I have developed my own creative style.

? His painting style preferences are broad but not complex. He not only prefers to depict the elegance of plums, orchids, bamboos, and chrysanthemums, but is also obsessed with outlining the elegance and splendor of peonies. He prefers to use landscapes to express his inner feelings. The ancients said: The hills and valleys seek the existence of heaven and earth, the pen and ink seek the absence of earth, and the pen follows the heart...

With the continuous increase of painting experience, the painting style is closer to the pursuit of simplicity, thickness, and simplicity. Elegant style. Especially for landscapes, the writing is thick and clear, and the writing is crisp and clear. It is not burdened by the objects and images, and it is free and casual. The scenery he writes is entangled in the traditional and simplified forms, and he uses ink to wander around the objects. In many years of painting practice, he has formed his own poetic life. He is lyrical and free-spirited, and the beautiful scenery of the mountains flows through the tip of his pen. It is so satisfying! Just like the work "Splendid Mountains and Rivers", the main tone is thick ink and light ink, with a touch of light ocher, the mountains are faintly shrouded in mist, the peaks are overlapping, the waterfalls are flowing, the mountains and rocks are steep, the momentum is magnificent, so majestic!

? Integrate emotion with intention, pursue reason and sensibility between heaven and earth, but seek to be bold, uninhibited, dripping, and majestic. I believe that through unremitting persistence and hard work, we will continue to make breakthroughs in the field of art and move towards the pinnacle of art!
