Sitting on the high-speed train back to Beijing, the two-day trip to Shanhaiguan is over. I think back on the people and things I encountered during these two days.
The next day I went to Laolongtou Scenic Area. When I was buying tickets, someone offered me a tour guide. At 80, I thought about it and decided to hire one. When he learned that I was alone, he admired me more and said that he also received a person yesterday, who also came from Beijing alone.
Although traveling alone is a bit lonely, it is relatively free. You can eat what you want and go wherever you want, without sacrificing this or that just to take care of your companions. Also, it’s difficult to find a suitable partner. It’s a bit like finding a partner: people who show up don’t like them, and people who like them don’t show up.
Before buying the train ticket, I looked at the hotel first and booked the Hanting Hotel, which is relatively close to the ancient city, for 120 a night. On the first day, we only visited the ancient city. There were still other places we didn’t go to, including Laolongtou Scenic Area, Meng Jiangnu Temple, etc. We planned to get up early the next day to go there. My definition of getting up early is: taking care of yourself early. Have a good breakfast and finish pooping. For convenience, I bought a buffet breakfast at the hotel for eighteen yuan. The breakfast buffet provides steamed buns, picture scrolls, steamed buns, two or three hot dishes, two or three hot porridges...
I am a vegetarian and advocate low-carbon environmental protection and energy conservation. Based on the principle of small amounts and frequent times, I ran back and forth three or five times and ate six small sugar packets, three small flower rolls, one egg, and three bowls of porridge in one day...
When eating, I also pay attention to the hygiene on the table to avoid making the table dirty and causing trouble to others. This is not because I am highly qualified, but because I have worked as a waiter, serving tea, pouring water and wiping tables. I have seen people eat a bowl of noodles and use a table of napkins. I have also seen people finish their meal with a spotless table.
Of course, I cannot hope that everyone can keep the table clean when eating, but I think those who can do it must be high-quality and educated. These things cannot be learned in school. Parents need to demand this from themselves in daily life, and at the same time it will influence their children to do so.
When I first saw the first level in the world, I felt strange... The most basic requirement for a building is to be upright. The first level in the world is actually tilted! Although the tilt angle is not large, it can be seen. I thought at the time, was this a slap in the face? I really don’t understand. Zhu Yuanzhang mobilized the whole country to build it. Is it just this level?
Only after I asked the tour guide the next day did I know that this was intentional. Shanhaiguan is adjacent to Yanshan Mountain in the north and Bohai Sea in the south. The first gate in the world is the east gate of the ancient city. Ancient people believed that mountains are higher than water. If the city gate is built upright - the mountains are as high as the water, it is against common sense. Therefore, the architects at that time built the city tower higher in the north and lower in the south, so that the main hall above the city tower was upright. Although this looks strange, it is in line with the ancient architectural concepts.
Being uneducated is terrible
When I went to the Wang Family Courtyard, I hired a tour guide. The tour guide took me to a calligrapher's house. Amway told me that writing poems with names is a local specialty, and this calligrapher is relatively famous and can be found on Baidu... I respect Chinese culture more, and ten yuan for a poem is okay. . I asked him to compose an impromptu poem for me. Yes, just as I was paying and leaving, he took out a piece of good rice paper. Amway, I had to use a brush to write it out so it would look good and be valuable. The calligrapher went on to say that he usually spent several thousand yuan to write a calligraphy, but now he only needed a hundred yuan to take away a calligraphy. Oh my god, did I get a big deal? I quickly paid for a calligrapher to write one, and left satisfied...
I don’t know much about calligraphy, but I can sell calligraphy. Anyone who does business must have two brushes. I admire literate people very much. Music, chess, calligraphy and painting can reflect human innovation. Such people are valuable people, and what they do is also valuable.
When something is cheap, we don’t value it.
Although we have had enough food and clothing over the years, our houses have been built higher and higher, and science and technology have developed faster and faster, our cultural level has not improved. Because most people no longer have their own values, so-called opinion leaders emerge.
I don’t know what I want. I will do whatever my opinion leaders do. I will buy whatever clothes my opinion leaders buy. I will also buy whatever my opinion leaders like to eat. I also like what I eat.
Of course, if this opinion leader is very good, that’s no problem, I will also ask him to be my opinion leader. But if this opinion leader is not very good and is just praised by some boring people, it will be very scary, such as Internet celebrities.
I read a piece of news. In a clothing wholesale market in Guangzhou, there is an entire floor dedicated to the Internet celebrity business. Clothes sellers find Internet celebrities to display their clothes on various platforms. These Internet celebrities have good figures, heavy makeup, and some sexy poses to look cute. I was almost attracted. But I keep reminding myself that these Internet celebrities are just good-looking skins, just like the princess of the Western Regions in Ouchi Spy, who looks good on the outside, but is actually a faceless man.
Go to places you have never been to, meet all kinds of people, and do things you have never done before...
