Introduction of scenic spots
Butterflies in Love with Flowers
Butterfly flowers are located in Taohuaxi. In the past, there were rugged rocks in the water, sharp as knives, and the discharged water was blocked, causing waves, such as the tides of the sea, and becoming a scene. Later, due to the change of address structure, Jianshui gradually dried up, revealing rocks, littering with dark colors and ups and downs. The trip was "full of stones and the realm was like waves".
Qingfengjian
Climbing up the mountain road from the edge of the Bailu Fountain ruins, you can see a gray limestone standing on the left side of the road not far away. There is an oblique black flint stripe on it, which is1.2m long and 0.06m wide, just like a sword embedded in it. This stone is called Qingfeng Sword, also known as Sword Stone. It is said that during his stay in Qixia Temple, Emperor Qianlong wandered in the mountains one day. He took off the green blade sword he was wearing, hung it on the rock wall, closed his eyes and rested. When he woke up, the green front sword was gone, but the shadow of the sword with the same size as the original sword was left on the rock. Emperor Qianlong turned war into friendship, so he named this stone "Qingfeng Sword". This is really a geological miracle.
Huashan pavilion
Located on Taohuaxi. According to "Mountain Shooting", the original pavilion was located on the Egret Fountain on the west side of Fengxiang Peak, within the scope of Qianlong Palace, and the companion palace of Houting was destroyed in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty. 1980, Qixia Mountain Management Office built a pavilion in front of Tiankaiyan, named after "Huashan Pavilion" and inscribed by Wei Tianchi, a famous contemporary calligrapher. It is also one of the places where red leaf varieties are concentrated.
Bell tower and drum tower
The buildings standing at both ends of the central axis of qixia temple are the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. The so-called "morning bell and evening drum" means ringing the bell in the morning, corresponding to the drum, and beating the drum at night, corresponding to the bell. In ancient China, it was mainly used for telling time and Buddhism. The qixia temple Bell Tower, which stands on the south side, is a heavy building with a single eaves and a mountain. It was built to welcome the "Millennium" of 2 1 century. The plaque on the bell tower was written by Song Xiang, a flower explorer in Guangdong during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. On the first floor of the bell tower, a bodhisattva, a Zhangmukuai Huang Jinbao king from Taiwan Province Province, is enshrined, wearing a Pilu crown and heavenly clothes. Ksitigarbha constantly vowed to save all suffering beings, especially those in hell, that is, "Hell is not empty, I will never become a Buddha!" " "If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell!" . Therefore, this Bodhisattva is widely spread by Buddhism because of its virtue of "great filial piety" and "great wish". Buddhism believes that every three strokes of the bell can free the soul of a hell and honor her as "a bodhisattva who wishes to hide in the hell", which is one of the four great bodhisattvas of Han Buddhism. There is a bronze bell hanging on the second floor of the bell tower, which is 2.2 meters in diameter, 3.2 meters in height and weighs 6 tons. The custom of ringing the bell in the New Year to pray for peace and happiness in the coming year has been passed down since ancient times. Since 2000, Qixia Ancient Temple has held a "New Year's Eve" bell-ringing blessing activity every year. People come from all over the country to listen to the bell of 108. According to Buddhist legend, people have 108 kinds of troubles a year. Listening to the bell of 108 on New Year's Eve can eliminate these troubles and make the New Year peaceful and peaceful. Looking at the Drum Tower and Bell Tower from a distance, the first floor is dedicated to Manjusri Bodhisattva. Manjusri Bodhisattva is the most respected bodhisattva except Guanyin Bodhisattva, ranking first among all bodhisattvas, the embodiment of supreme wisdom and one of the four Buddhists. Qixia temple Bell and Drum Tower has formed a perfect pattern here, with Millennium Bell in the south and Taiping Drum in the north. The bells and drums add to the solemnity of the ancient temple, which can be regarded as the unique reason for winning in the period of peace and prosperity.
