Integrity refers to people's ambition and moral integrity. Honesty is a China word, which refers to upholding justice, people's aspirations and moral integrity. "You can die in the evening when you hear the Tao", which reveals the source of integrity. "Do your best, die before you die", which summarizes the expansion of honesty; "Heroes are born and die, but it is time to swim", which is the sublimation of wholeness in abstraction.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, there were a group of historians in the Qi and Jin Dynasties, who wrote books and made statements and sacrificed their lives for martyrdom, especially Taishigong in the Qi State and Donghu in the Jin Dynasty. Although the Master of Qi was killed by Cui Yao, a powerful minister, his two younger brothers persevered because of the direct book Cui Yao killed the king, and continued to write like this. Cui Yao was afraid of the righteousness of the Taishi brothers writing straight books, and finally put down the butcher knife.
Definition of good faith
Dong Hu, the Grand Master of the State of Jin, was praised by Confucius as "a good history in ancient times" because he was not afraid of powerful people and wrote "Zhao Dun killed the monarch". Since then, China historians have followed suit and become an iron law of China's ancient historiography.
However, it must be pointed out here that under the arrogance of China's feudal monarchy, it is obviously impossible for historians of past dynasties to do this. Because of this, Wen Tianxiang, a national hero, praised "in the historical bamboo slips of Qi State, in eastern Shanxi" in the Song of Righteousness.
