Liu Zishan is a pepper man. I graduated from Huang Lu Normal University. 1949 took part in the revolution and engaged in mass propaganda for a long time, in which exhibition was the main business. Member of China Calligraphers Association, executive director of Anhui Branch of China Calligraphers Association, and vice president of Anhui Calligraphy and Stone Society. Born in a scholarly family, my parents all took teaching as their profession and were good at books.
Adhering to the court training, he was enlightened at the age of 4. After taking part in the work, I have been sticking to Linchi for a long time, mainly writing, running script and cursive script. Works appeared in the fifties. 1979 won the first prize of the national mass calligraphy competition. His books are pure and magnificent, rigid and ancient, thick and dry, and lofty in artistic conception. His works are collected in more than 0/00 places of interest, memorial halls and art galleries in China.
He has been published in Selected Works of Contemporary Famous Calligraphers, China Book Fair, Exhibition of 100 Famous Calligraphers in China, Exhibition of 100 Excellent Works of Contemporary Calligraphers in China, Collection of Works of Contemporary Famous Calligraphers in China and Japan, and Essence of China Calligraphy and Ink. His biography was included in the International Dictionary of Contemporary Paintings and Calligraphy and won the title of "World Gold Award Artist". He has published Selected Works of Liu Zishan's Calligraphy, Liu Zishan Zheng Qu and Cao Kai's Poems.
He used to be vice president of Anhui Calligraphy and Stone Society, director of China Calligraphers Association and national first-class artist. In decades of artistic practice, Liu Zishan is diligent in thinking, brave in exploration, advocating tradition and innovation. He has long adhered to the combination of attachment, enlightenment and practice, taking profundity, acquisition, integration and transcendence as his own responsibility, and pursuing a vigorous and masculine style of writing.
Calligraphy has five styles, especially bold, heavy, magnificent and distinctive artistic personality. His regular script is elegant and smart, paying attention to the calm and intrinsic rhythm of the pen, and the thickness of the strokes is uneven, so that it produces a muddy spirit.
His study of regular script is not a deliberate imitation, nor a simple copy of the original post, but a fusion of his own understanding. He exudes inner temperament and confides in my heart, so he can transcend the monument, wash away the sweetness and vulgarity, and form a regular script realm with solid flesh and blood, magnificent bearing and complementary movement and static.
