The Sanyuan County Museum is located in the Sanyuan City God's Temple. It has collected nearly 3,000 precious cultural relics and more than 100 inscriptions. The current collection of cultural relics in the Sanyuan Museum 2,425 items (groups), including 10 first-level cultural relics, 108 second-level cultural relics, 329 third-level cultural relics, and 1,972 general and unclassified cultural relics. The Yaozhou kiln system in the Song, Jin, and Yuan dynasties includes Yue Fei Shu, Zhuge Liang, and Zhuge Liang. Celadon, black porcelain, Yu Youren's calligraphy works, Ming and Qing calligraphy and paintings, and cultural relics unearthed from Li Shou's tomb and Zang Huailiang's tomb in Tang Dynasty are praised by the world.
The museum’s basic exhibitions include an exhibition of cultural relics unearthed from the Tang Dynasty, an exhibition of Yu Youren’s calligraphy, an exhibition of paintings from the Tenth Hall of Yanjun Temple, and an exhibition of sculpture art from past dynasties. Among them, the display of paintings in the temple collection is designed to provide audiences and mysterious culture explorers with historical materials for appreciating and studying folk paintings on the social and religious activities of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
The main buildings in the museum, such as the Theater Tower, Bell and Drum Tower, Xian Hall, Shi Hall, Accompanying Hall, and Sleeping Hall, have their own characteristics. There is an eye-catching screen wall in front of the temple gate, and to the south there is a pair of iron flagpoles weighing more than 20,000 kilograms. In the two corridors of the temple, there are stone carvings of Yue Fei's writings on the front and back.
