Sima Yi's Main Allusions

1, pretending to be sick and refusing Cao

Cao Cao has just defeated Yuan Shao and is in urgent need of talents. I heard that Sima Yi was very talented, so I recruited him to be an official. When Sima Yi learned the news, he felt that Cao Cao was a eunuch and was unwilling to obey.

But he dared not openly refuse Cao Cao, so he assumed that he was suffering from wind arthralgia and was inconvenient to live in. Cao Cao suspected that Sima Yi deliberately shirked and secretly sent someone to check it at night. Sima Yi got the news in advance and stayed in bed all day and all night.

Later that night, the man sneaked into Sima Yi's bedroom and found him lying flat on the bed. Still uneasy, the man drew his sword and waved it at Sima Yi.

Seeing a sharp knife, Sima Yi just looked at the man with wide eyes and did not move. Only then did the man believe that Sima Yi really had rheumatism, so he took his sword and went back to report to Cao Cao.

When Cao Cao became prime minister, he was eager to recruit talents, so he remembered Sima Yi again and decided to recruit him again. He told the messenger that if Sima Yi didn't call again, he would be arrested.

Sima Yi knew that although Cao Cao loved talents, he could not tolerate those who were arrogant and refused to attach themselves. Sima Yi was afraid of being killed, so she had to leave home to make a phone call.

2. The same is true of Sanma.

When Sima Yi was Cao Cao's counselor, Cao Cao was extremely worried about him. One day, Cao Cao had a dream that three horses were eating in the same trough. When he woke up, he was very unhappy. At first, Cao Cao thought it was Ma Chao's family and killed Ma Chao's father.

Sima Yi and his son happen to be homonyms of "Cao" and "the same trough", which means that Sima Shi wants to eat Cao Shi. Cao Cao felt that this was an ominous sign, so he called Prince Cao Pi and said to him, "Sima Yi is not a person who wants to be a minister and will definitely interfere in our internal affairs in the future."

But Cao Pi later trusted Sima Yi very much and didn't take his father's words to heart. Later, as Cao Cao expected, Sima's father and son joined Cao Wei's affairs successively.

The old lady refused to eat.

Sima Yi loved Mrs. Bai deeply in her later years, and even Zhang Chunhua hardly had a chance to meet Sima Yi. Sima Yi was ill in bed, and Zhang Chunhua went to visit.

Sima Yi said, "The past is really annoying. You don't have to bother coming out!" Zhang Chunhua was ashamed and angry, refused to eat, and tried to commit suicide. Her children also refused to eat.

Sima Yi was shocked and apologized, and Zhang Chunhua stopped the hunger strike. When Sima Yi came out, he said to others, "The past is not worthy of pity, but I am worried that my good sons will suffer."

4. Red clothes promote war

In the second year of Qinglong (234), Zhuge Liang launched the fifth Northern Expedition and sent troops to shout, insult and provoke in front of Wei military camp. However, no matter how many tricks you have used up, Sima Yi is still determined not to move and still insists on not fighting.

When the Shu army failed to fight, Zhuge Liang sent someone to send Sima Yi a set of women's clothes as an insult, which meant that Sima Yi was so cautious that she was only worthy of being a woman but not a general.

Wei was really annoyed to humiliate General Wei Jun like this. They flew into a rage and insisted on playing. Sima yi saw that persuasion or orders were not enough to stop the people from fighting, so he had to tell them that the emperor allowed an immediate war by writing to the court.

Therefore, Sima Yi sent Wei Mingdi an invitation to challenge. Knowing Sima Yi's intention, Ming Di immediately sent Wei Yan and Xin Pi to the front with letters, claiming that the emperor had an order, and he was only allowed to stick to it and was not allowed to go to war.

5. Countermeasures to levy Liao

In the first month of the second year of Jingchu (238), Wei Mingdi recalled Sima Yi and ordered him to lead a crusade. When Cao Sou asked him what countermeasures he estimated Gongsun Yuan had, Sima Yi said, "Abandoning the city is the best policy. It's a trick to fight our army with Liaoshui. He who sits in Xiangping will be a prisoner. "

Cao Cao asked again, "What kind of strategy will Gongsun Yuan adopt?" Sima Yi replied: "Only smart people can correctly measure each other's strength. Abandoning the city in advance is not something Gongsun Yuan can do. He will surely think that our solo expedition won't last long. Resist in Liaoshui first, and then retreat to Xiangping. This is a trap and a trap. "

Wei Mingdi asked, "How long does it take to get there?" Sima Yi said, "Go for a hundred days, return for a hundred days, attack for a hundred days, and rest for sixty days. One year is enough. "
