In 1972, the local government of Lin County passed Guo Moruo's daughter Guo Pingying asked Guo Moruo for a calligraphy for the Hongqi Canal project. In mid-September, Guo Moruo personally inscribed "Hongqi Canal" and "Youth Cave". Today, the two characters "Hongqi Canal" hanging high at the water gate of the Hongqi Canal and "Qingqian Cave" at the Qingnian Cave of the Hongqi Canal throat project were enlarged and made based on the photos of Guo Moruo's inscriptions:
In 1995, Anyang Cigarette Factory created the "Hongqiqu" cigarette brand, directly borrowing Guo Moruo's inscription "Hongqiqu":
