Wang, male, was born in Laixi City, Shandong Province, 1965. He has successively obtained bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees in history from Shandong Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University and Beijing Normal University, and worked in the periodical editorial department of Zhonghua Book Company from 65438 to 0998. 1999-200 1 worked as a postdoctoral fellow at China Institute of Calligraphy and Culture of Capital Normal University, and then stayed as a teacher. He is currently a director of China Calligraphers Association, dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of China Calligraphy and Culture Institute of Capital Normal University, researcher of Tang History Institute of Shaanxi Normal University, member of Chinese Tang History Society, secretary of Antang Culture and History Society, and art consultant of Gansu Bookstore.

Mainly engaged in the teaching and research of history, calligraphy literature and calligraphy culture. He has published more than 60 academic papers on history and calligraphy in China History Research and China Calligraphy. Seven books including Calligraphy and Culture in Tang Dynasty, Forgery by Literati, Art in Sui and Tang Dynasties, China Calligraphy Appreciation Series-Regular Script, Comments on Huai and Su Dynasties, Calligraphy and Culture in Six Dynasties, Research on Calligraphy Seal Cutting Culture in Han Dynasty and Calligraphy and Culture in Tang Dynasty were published. The monograph Research on Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Culture in Han Dynasty won the first prize of the 3rd China Calligraphy Lanting Award, and the monograph Calligraphy and Culture in Six Dynasties won the second prize of the 8th Beijing Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences. The thesis "On the Relationship between Selection, Examination and Writing of Literati in Han Dynasty" won the first prize in the theoretical category of the Fourth Literary Criticism Award of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Completed a project supported by China postdoctoral science fund and a humanities and social science research project of Beijing Education Commission in 2003. Now he undertakes the national social science fund art project "Research on folk calligraphy seal cutting in Tang Dynasty". In 2004, he was rated as one of the top ten teachers in Capital Normal University.
