Hu Yunfu is a children's tutor and loves literature and history. His calligraphy benefited from the guidance of his grandfather Hu, who focused on the study of famous calligraphy inscriptions. After studying in Beijing Normal University, I was lucky enough to meet Master Qi Gong and gained a lot of lessons in literature, history, poetry and calligraphy. During this period, I also participated in Introduction to Calligraphy and Reference Materials of Introduction to Calligraphy edited by Mr. Qi Gong, and assisted Mr. Qi Gong in sorting out and publishing calligraphy works and other works. His calligraphy is full of originality, form and spirit, and charm.
Since 1978, Hu Yunfu's calligraphy works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times, and some of his works have been selected into China's large-scale forest of steles, Zhongnanhai's living room, China's fine paintings and calligraphy, 2008 Beijing Olympic torch relay stamps and commemorative works. In 2002, the Writing Textbook for Primary and Secondary Schools edited by him won the first Lanting Award in China.
