Brief introduction of Xixiang Street Central Primary School in Baoan District, Shenzhen
Xiwan Primary School, Baoan District, Shenzhen (the school has been renamed as: Xiwan Primary School. Formerly known as Xixiang Central Primary School, it is the first provincial-level public primary school in Baoan District. Xiwan Primary School was founded in the 21st year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1895). This is an old school with a history of 100 years. The school was originally in Hexi Village, Xixiang, and it was a private school. After liberation, private schools were transformed and expanded and renamed Xixiang Primary School and Xixiang Central Primary School. After it was changed to Xixiang Street Central Primary School in September 2005, it was officially renamed as Xiwan Primary School on 20 141October 20. Under the leadership of President Chen Qiong, it became the first "National Science Education Experimental Base" and "National Writing Education Experimental Base" in Shenzhen, the first primary school "Guangdong Primary and Secondary School Principals Training Practice Base" in Baoan District, and the first batch of teachers and parents in Baoan District trained "quality schools" and "double-excellent schools", and won the "Shenzhen School-running Benefit Award" twice. 1 The school was founded in 1895, and moved from its former site to Bihai Bay in September 1996, with an area of 27,000 square meters and a building area of12,400 square meters. The school has an elegant environment and perfect facilities, and has 26 multi-functional halls such as "Xihai Book Bar". There are 36 classes with 2282 students and 20 faculty members 120, including full-time and backbone teachers 103. At present, there are six subject leaders and class teachers in the city and district. The school was officially renamed as Xiwan Primary School on 20 14 10. The name of the new school was inscribed by the famous calligrapher Lu Zhongnan.
