"The Saudi prince likes poetry very much, and some of his poems are displayed on the wall of the art corridor of the Saudi Pavilion", which was revealed by the Saudi female artist Lula in an exclusive interview with reporters.
Lula, Saudi Arabian female artist
Lula told reporters that he participated in the design of the Saudi Pavilion two months before the opening of the World Expo. Because Saudi calligraphy is a very important part of Saudi culture, it is planned to decorate the art museum of Saudi Pavilion with calligraphy works. The calligraphy works of 1 18 on display include friendly messages from the King of Saudi Arabia to the people of China, poems written by the Prince of Saudi Arabia, and introductions to the origin of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I spent four weeks creating these calligraphy works, and sometimes I used my sleeping time to create them. After hard work, the creation was finally completed before the opening of the World Expo, showing the traditional culture of Saudi Arabia to tourists.

Lula said that the art of calligraphy is abstract, and it is his belief to engage in calligraphy creation as an artist. The development of Saudi calligraphy is linked with the development of the country, religion and different Arab cultures. Among the works on display, I like the one that is 5 meters high best. When talking about how to like the art of calligraphy, Lula, who looks handsome, said that he liked calligraphy since he was a child. He saw that some of China's calligraphy works could be rolled up and hung on the wall, so he liked China culture and China's calligraphy works. From 1999, he began to work hard on calligraphy creation, and then studied at London College of Art and Design for four years and obtained a bachelor's degree. After graduation, I continued to study for a master's degree in Britain, and a year later I got a master's degree in graphic design.
As women in Arab countries, they often show their faces when they are engaged in design and creation. Is it too conspicuous? In this regard, Lula said with a smile, today I want to take this opportunity to correct it. It has always been thought that Arab women rarely go out, and even when they go out, they have to wear scarves to cover their faces, which is very conservative. Actually, it was a misunderstanding. Nowadays, many Arab women are engaged in various occupations. They have smart minds, including scientists, journalists and doctors, and they still play a role in various fields. Finally, Lula told reporters that he likes China culture, China's calligraphy art and Shanghai very much.
