How to effectively improve primary school students' writing literacy

Words are the other side of people. "The quality of words often reflects a person's quality." Everyone agrees on the importance of writing well. But at present, the writing ability of primary school students is not optimistic. Mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the writing speed is slow. It is advisable to write slowly in the lower grades, but in the upper grades, students are still' carving' their writing one by one. How can such a writing level cope with the increasing learning tasks? The slow writing speed seems to be a small problem, but it should not be underestimated. Slow writing speed will bring a series of problems: because of slow writing speed, it takes him two or three hours to finish the homework that he could have finished in half an hour, and he is busy with his homework from morning till night, with heavy burden and little rest, which affects his physical and mental development; Because of his slow writing speed, he has no spare time to play games, make friends or read extracurricular books, which limits his personality development and knowledge expansion. People who copy slowly pay attention to how to write words, not the meaning of sentences, and can't think when copying, which affects the development of thinking; A word can only be copied after repeated reading, and new words can't become familiar words, which will limit the development of language. In short, the slow writing speed is an important factor for children to fail to keep up with their studies and become underachievers. Second, the handwriting is scrawled. Especially in senior grades, many students' homework is dirty and messy, which makes it a headache for teachers to correct it. When it comes to the exam, many students are in a hurry and can't recognize what they wrote, so they lose points in the exam. Third, the writing method is wrong and the writing posture is ugly. Now from grade one to grade six, how many students in each class can write correctly? Some people even bend their wrists and write like carvings. When writing, "three ones" can do very little. Most students are writing on desks, which makes people feel sad. Today, with the implementation of quality education for so many years, why is our students' writing ability declining? According to my investigation, I think there are the following reasons: 1. Writing teaching is easily ignored by teachers. The weekly writing class stipulated in the curriculum plan is included in the Chinese class, which is often used in practice, so it is difficult to guarantee the time. Even if our school has a full-time writing teacher, because there are many classes, students don't like to practice, and it is difficult to implement the goal. What is the effect of training once a week? Moreover, compared with literacy, reading, writing and other fields, the evaluation of writing teaching is at least pale if it is blank, and there are basically no exams and few scores. It is rare to hear organized writing teaching group research activities. All these objectively cause teachers and students' teaching energy to tilt to other fields. The most direct evidence of this tendency is that students' other knowledge, ability and level increase with the increase of grade, but many students' writing level is getting worse and worse. An ability gets worse with practice. What can be explained except contempt? 2. Teachers' writing ability is not strong and training is improper. Normal students who graduated in recent years have higher and higher academic qualifications, but they can write basic skills but dare not compliment them. Some teachers danced while flying over the phoenix on the blackboard by themselves. How can we ask students to write well? Some teachers only ask students to practice calligraphy or paint the copybooks in red, without guidance on what to practice and how to practice. Naturally, the more students practice, the more bored they become, and the more they practice, the more scribbled they become. 3, offside teaching, encourage. Now kindergarten teachers ask children to write at the beginning of small classes. The correct posture of writing does not mean that the kindergarten teacher has not strengthened, but that the child is too young to get a pen and has strengthened his deformation. When I was in primary school, when teachers saw students holding pens, they naturally didn't pay attention and asked them to write new words and sentences. Over time, students have developed bad habits. Article 6, the general goal of writing teaching in Chinese Curriculum Standards, says that "Chinese characters can be written correctly and neatly, and at a certain speed." The Outline of Writing Teaching (formulated by the Ministry of Education) clearly points out: "Writing is an important basic Chinese skill for primary school students. Writing teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in primary schools. " "Several Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Strengthening Writing Teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools" points out: "Standardized, correct and neat Chinese writing is the basic guarantee for effective written communication, and it is the basis for students to learn Chinese and other courses and form lifelong learning ability." "Developing good writing habits, having skilled writing skills, and having a preliminary ability to appreciate calligraphy are the basic qualities that modern China citizens should have, and they are also one of the goals of basic education courses." As the foundation of the education system, primary education should bravely shoulder the corresponding responsibilities, strengthen writing teaching, improve students' writing ability and benefit students for life. How to improve students' writing ability? First, write less and guide more, and lay a good foundation for writing. "Chinese Curriculum Standard" clearly points out that "knowing and writing are separated, knowing more and writing less" in lower grades, just considering the difficulty of writing Chinese characters. The content of writing teaching in the first phase of the new textbook is arranged according to the degree of difficulty, which is related to literacy teaching but not synchronous, knowing more and writing less, knowing early and writing late, with the aim of laying a good writing foundation step by step. Don't be too demanding in teaching, let students write words that are difficult to write although they know in advance. Appropriately reducing the difficulty of writing is not only conducive to writing well, but also conducive to writing fast words. The foundation is not firm, and the ground shakes. Primary school writing has to start from the basics. 1, correct writing directly affects the writing speed. In the past teaching, many teachers' understanding of writing posture only stayed on the "three ones", and the most critical writing method was often not mentioned. The correct way to hold the pen should be: hold the pen with your right hand, and the joints of your thumb and forefinger naturally bend about an inch away from the pen tip; The first section of the middle finger is padded at the lower end of the pen holder; The ring finger and the little finger are naturally bent to the palm in turn and placed under the middle finger; The back end of the pen rests on the tiger's mouth near the root of the index finger, making an angle of about 50 degrees with the paper; The five fingers are naturally strong and the palms are empty. Some parents are eager to send their children to preschool to learn to write, thinking that they will become talented as soon as they start early. This may not be appropriate. The age is too small, the degree of hand muscle development is not enough, and it is quite difficult for the brain to dominate the small muscles of fingers. In order for the pen in his hand to work, the child must keep the pen close to the root of the finger and close to the palm of his hand. At present, the most common pen-holding posture of primary school students is to squeeze the pen into the root of the thumb with the index finger and middle finger, and the thumb is held outside the index finger, and the whole hand is almost fist-shaped. Its formation has much to do with holding the pen too early and writing continuously for too long. This pen-holding posture not only affects the quality and speed of writing, but also the pen tip is below the center of the fist, and the line of sight is blocked when sitting, which will inevitably lead to a bad sitting posture with the head tilted to one side and the shoulders tilted, which will lead to serious problems. 2. If you want to write well, in addition to the teacher writing on the blackboard, the key point is to guide students to post. Most teachers only ask students to paint red, but painting red is mindless imitation. Once you leave the copybook, students still can't write. At a certain time, students should be taught to stick to it. At the beginning, let the students read the paste carefully, draw on the notebook with their fingers, and remember the appearance little by little. Then let the students read and write one by one or write a part one by one. For beginners, write slowly at first, write less, "write while watching", and write a word with three eyes. However, when they have a certain writing foundation, they must be helped to form the habit of "thinking before writing": carefully observe the changes of strokes and the treatment of structure, analyze the rules of stroke order, so as to "intentionally write first" and "carefully observe and write in one stroke". 3. Teaching skills. Teachers themselves should study hard, improve their calligraphy literacy and master certain basic writing skills. Writing is a highly skilled activity, and the importance of visual demonstration is very prominent. Sometimes it's better to say it a hundred times than to write it to the students in person. Teachers can explain while demonstrating, and which places must be emphasized and explained quickly; Where can I speed up my writing so that my handwriting is still beautiful, even faster and more beautiful? Through demonstration and comparison, make them understand and master the appropriate pause, and understand the truth of fast but not chaotic. In the cycle of constant pointing, practice, communication, accumulation, comprehension and summary, students are taught to explain the skills and speed changes of lifting, tripping and turning between starting, transporting and collecting pens. In addition, writing to a certain extent will inevitably develop into "grass", which is inevitable and is also the forward-looking goal of students' writing ability development. Writing teaching in primary schools should make some preparations for this. In the third year of high school, students should know some running scripts of commonly used words and introduce some basic knowledge and statutes of running scripts. Teachers can also use running script on the blackboard accordingly, which not only saves teaching time, but also provides students with the opportunity to observe the dynamic writing of running script, and makes psychological preparation and knowledge reserve for them to further master Chinese writing technology. If the conditions are right, there is no need for students to try to write running script in advance. Second, persevere and form good habits. If you want to improve your writing ability, the premise is to study hard and practice hard. First, practice often. In the process of classroom teaching, teachers must leave time for students to practice writing, especially in junior middle school Chinese class, and strive to leave enough time for students to practice writing in each class. In the initial stage of senior one, the teacher should explain the basic strokes and stroke order rules in detail, and all the strokes should be in place. Remind students at any time the position of each word and stroke in Tian Zige, the stroke method, the distance and length from the previous stroke, the position of each stroke in Tian Zige, the position of pen collection and the position on the horizontal (or vertical) line. After explaining the structural characteristics of the whole word and the proportion of each part in detail, students will practice again and the effect will be different. Second, practice every day. Every day, we should arrange dozens of minutes to practice calligraphy and practice under the guidance of the teacher. As long as the teacher is willing to take the time to let the students practice and form the habit of writing carefully, it will be easy. Pay attention to application, don't practice calligraphy for the sake of practicing calligraphy. Chinese characters are tools of communication, and writing is also the need of communication. It is not practical to write well only when practicing calligraphy, but not on other occasions. On the one hand, students are required to apply the skills they have practiced in writing teaching to their daily writing and homework in various subjects, treat each writing as an exercise, and truly "write and practice", constantly exercise their writing ability and improve the speed of practical application. On the other hand, teachers of all subjects should establish the concept of "big teaching", cooperate with each other and participate in writing teaching together. Require all written assignments and give guidance and evaluation in this regard. Paying attention to writing, once the atmosphere of everyone's guidance is formed, it is difficult for students to write well. Everything depends on people. As long as we pay attention to the guiding methods, refine the requirements and carry out scientific training in writing teaching, the number of students who can write quickly and well will definitely increase greatly. By then, the higher the grade, the more scribbled and ugly the homework will be.
