Who wrote the word "Tsinghua"
The tall lintel of the West Gate of Tsinghua is engraved with four free and easy characters "Tsinghua University", which was inscribed by the founding leader Mao Zedong. 1June, 950, busy Chairman Mao wrote six "Tsinghua University" at the request of teachers and students in Tsinghua. As a master of calligraphy, he also modestly pointed out: "cursive writing seems to be better for rights." Since then, the school emblem inscribed by Chairman Mao has been accompanied by Tsinghua teachers and students.
