Degang Guo is a famous crosstalk performer. I used to listen to his cross talk. I first came into contact with his cross talk because of the influence of my university teacher. He is a fan of Degang Guo. During the break, Degang Guo's cross talk will be played on the projector. At one time, I downloaded a lot of his crosstalk on mp3.
But now I seldom hear the full version of Degang Guo's cross talk, and more often I see him on variety shows. I hope to go to Beijing to listen to it once.
Besides cross talk, Degang Guo is also versatile. He likes calligraphy and painting very much. Some people say that he is excellent in both aspects. So I don't think his paintings and calligraphy works are excellent, but as a hobby, writing can be said to be very interesting.
For example, this calligraphy couplet works, the content is: three cups of old wine in the morning and evening is convenient, a bowl of small noodles, young and old Xian Yi, Xian Yi. Its fonts are large and small, and some structures are exaggerated. For example, the word "salty" deliberately exaggerates the size of the mouth, but compared with those neat, straight and formal calligraphy works, it is more interesting and smacks of Zheng Banqiao.
His paintings also have this temperament, laughing and cursing, and have a humorous character.
It is difficult for a person's calligraphy and painting to pass the evaluation of one or two works. Some works may be amateur and some may be professional. For example, Degang Guo's next Da Zhuan works are very professional and have the temperament of a professional calligrapher.
Other works may be written casually in the blink of an eye, such as his representative running script. He is good at using exaggeration and deformation of fonts, especially like exaggerating the word "mouth" and vertical painting.
