What does a weasel look like?

The scientific name of the weasel is weasel, with a body length of 280-400 mm, and the female is smaller than the male 1/2- 1/3. The skull is long and narrow with a flat top. Because it is brown or orange, it is called a weasel in zoology.

Weasels are small carnivores. Habitat in plains, swamps, river valleys, villages, cities and mountains. Nocturnal activities, mainly feeding on rodents, occasionally eating other small mammals, estrus mating in March-April every year. Choose to nest in hidden places such as haystacks, bank caves, cemeteries, rocky piles and tree holes. The gestation period of females is 33-37 days. Usually born in May, each fetus has 2-8. Like many weasels, they have smelly glands in their bodies, which can expel odor and paralyze their enemies when threatened. Mainly feed on rodents, and occasionally eat other small mammals. As the folk proverb says, "Weasels pay New Year greetings to chickens-unkind", in fact, weasels rarely feed on chickens. The weasel's fur is suitable for watercolor or oil painting brushes, which China people call wolf hair. They mainly live in Siberia, Tibet, Thailand and other places, and are distributed in many places in China.
