The predecessor of Southeast University is Sanjiang Normal School, which was founded in 1902. 192 1 year, initiated by Mr. Guo Bingwen, the National Southeast University was established on the basis of Nanjing Normal University, with engineering under it. The emblem of Southeast University was designed by Professor Zhang from the Art Department of Southeast University in May 1997. The overall pattern of the logo is circular and consists of two concentric circles. The outer ring road is decorated with a "civil and military line" with thick outside and thin inside, which embodies the traditional culture of China. The upper part of the outer ring is the English name of Southeast University, and the lower part is the motto of Wang Xizhi's calligraphy style "stop at perfection".
