Present situation of Jingtu Temple

Today, Jingtu Temple is quite large. The temple covers an area of1680m2, with a building area of 4,500m2. On the lintel of the tall Shanmen Temple, there are three gold-plated characters inscribed by Zhao Puchu, a famous calligrapher and the late president of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Approaching the temple, cigarettes are lingering and Sanskrit sounds are endless. The eaves of Hongfa Building are upturned, Guanyin Hall is shining, and Daxiong Hall is magnificent. There are about forty rooms in the east and west rows, which have both monks' dormitories and places for Buddhist activities.

There are more than 30 pieces of Qing Qianlong stone carving, stone carving, Suzhou embroidery, calligraphy and painting in the temple. Elder Jing Hui, the first vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, often comes to Jingtu Temple to give lectures with more than a dozen famous monks from all over the country. Jingtu Temple also keeps in touch with Buddhist circles at home and abroad, such as Singapore, China and Taiwan Province Province. Tens of thousands of religious believers come to Jingtu Temple to participate in Buddhist activities every year in Shanghai, Nanjing and other places.
