One of the most successful emperors in China, he is called "one emperor through the ages". During his twenty-three years in office (627-649), he enjoyed national security, social stability, economic development and prosperity, and strong military strength. Later generations called his rule in Zhenguan (627-649) "Zhenguan rule". He has made great achievements in the martial arts and poetry creation of Wenzhi.
